I got a crash (with log) just by panning/zooming around - I think we need to know the configuration for running this scenario.

Mr. Lakie;

Thanks, My Friend, again!

Mr. Weirdy, you wrote "what version patch do you use and could you post your
newgrf.cfg and ttdpatch.cfg as files to download please."

I'm using Patch 2.0.1. and Alpha 55, like I said the latest features.

Some of you seem to keep thinking of me as a "Pro", when
I'm only a "Regular". So, I don't know how to get newgrf.cfg to you, Sir. :oops:

Is anyone else having problems with "Super Subways II"? Please let me know.

Always,
Jim Powers

No Problems

Post by Jim Powers »

Dear Fellows;

I've just installed the whole Subway system in "Super Subways II" with NO crashes. I'm just not having any problems with the scenario or the game.

Here's a couple of 'screenies'. :wink:

Mexico's About Done.

Post by Jim Powers »

Mr. CeleronXL;

I haven't forgot Mexico, Sir. It's about to be completed. Thanks for the interest.
Mr. Simmer, what's wrong with red fonts, Sir? You wrote" There's a difference
between 55 and 55 VCS". You are correct, Sir. I tried to put Mr. Blunck's New Cargo grf
in my program and got a red warning sign. Mr. Blunck has tried to assist me in getting
this implantmented, and I really appreciate his much needed help. I downloaded,
from Mr. Csabas' patch, this 55 VCS and put it in the newgrf folder, but it doesn't
seem to recognize it. Still working on it. Wow! Finally fishing, beer, etc., etc.:shock:

Mr. Weirdy, did you get 'Super Subway II' up and running? I'm playing it as we speak, and still no problems. Hope you solved yours, Sir.

And thanks, Mr.Raichase and Mr. Lakiefor making it easier to find
my scenarios. You Guys are the best!

Magnificent Mexico Soon

Post by Jim Powers »

Mr. CeleronXL;

I'll be releasing my latest scenario "Magnificent Mexico" this weekend.

This scenario is in the Tropic Mode. With Mr. Blunck's new industries of
Beer and Fish, "Magnificent Mexico" should be quite an enjoyable scenario!

Whether you're in the central part, (say Mexico City,) or on the beaches of
Puerto Vallarta or Acapulco, or even Cancun, you'll be very busy keeping
the goods going to market and the Passengers (tourists) coming to the vibrant cities.

Rest assured you'll have a blast with "Magnificent Mexico"! :wink:

The attachment modification on the phpbb forum is currently unavaible. The scenarios are attached with this modification, but are now currenlty not available. Be patient, the attachment mod will soon be online again (I hope). Check again in a day (or perhaps 2 days).

Looks Like the Forums back

Post by Jim Powers »

Dear TT-Forums Family;

Looks like we're back together once more, Thanks to Mr. Owen Rudge
and those that helped him. :bow:

OK, I put "Magnificent Mexico" On the site last weekend
as promised, but, with all the problems, it seems to have been deleted.
So, again, I present you my newest scenario "Magnificent Mexico"!

Whether you're trucking fruit, gold, or Copper out of the hilly and mountianous
regions to town, or taking passengers and mail from city to city, or ferrying or flying
by air or sea, those many tourists which love to come to Mexico for a sunny beach vacation,
whichever the case may be........... You have a real good chance to become a wealthy Baran,
or, if you don't wisely use the resources nor opportunities, which are at your disposal,
you may very well wind up a begger, on the streets of some city in Mexico!.......
So, look out, but, have fun with "Magnificent Mexico"! :wink:

I'm playing a game from it called 'Mucho Gusto Transfer Co.'. Sounds Mexican enough?

Always,
'Senor' Jim Powers :lol:

My post got deleted when Zernebok died, so I shall say it again.

Basically, you got the positions of Mexico City and Guadalajara wrong.

I don't think Mexico City is north of Guadalajara.

So, I'm just asking you place Guadalajara more towards the north (Real world, not slanted TTD world) and Mexico city more towards the south.

Otherwise, it is quite good. But somewhat lacking in the Oil Rig facilities along the Gulf, that's about 20% of Mexico's income!

Yes, but while a moat of stagnant water all round will look pretty, you will need to use an awful lot of DDT to keep down the malarial mosquitoes. The Tropics, you know. :wink:
