Europe Map
Dear Mr. Shadow XIII;
Thank you! That's a nice map, Sir. I'll be more than
happy to do something to make this an exciting scenario.
Question: If I understand you, you would like some large
cities, maybe something like "Out of Africa"? No problem!
Is there anything else special that you'd like me to include,
or, do you want me to kind a use my imagination?
I'll work on it this weekend, Sir. Again Thanks.
Always,
Jim Powers

Norden PLUS Saved Game
Dear TT-Forum Family;
For those who would like to have the saved game from my latest
scenario "Norden PLUS", that I'm now playing, It is called
'Northern Transport Company'. I'll up load it for you. It has a fantastic
Monorail underground (Subway) system which is a blast!
Also, I just installed (2) Canal systems! They are most fun!
Thanks Oskar!:D

Newest Scenario: Jim's Europe
Mr. Shadow XIII;
I'm still working from your most interesting scenario of Europe,
my latest scenario "Jim's Europe". I want it to be as popular as
'Extreme Cities', (Page #2) which has almost 600 Downloads
(in Mr. Prof. Frink's Zip package) in TT-Forums, alone!
But, I'm a bit puzzled why my scenario "Jim P's New York City", (Page #9)
which has the largest city ever made in TTD history, has only a mere 20 Downloads.
I wonder what went wrong? Maybe our good members of TT-Forum don't
know what to do with it. I thought that it was perfect for running a 1st class
bus system and it also has the subways running along the edges of the map,
which would be fun to create them in the inner city also, using the same system
that I used along the edges. A lot of possibilities.........
Anyway, I should be finished sometime this month and will let you know, Sir.
Always,
Jim Powers

Well, I'll reply why I haven't tried any of your games even though they look very interesting and I have respect for them - I have very little time to play the game and I'm still playing through the DBset. I don't want to try too many things at once. It's quite possible that I will try either the US set or the Japan set with your savegame, as that would fit together quite well - NY is in the US, and of course Japan is almost nothing but huge cities.

Jim's Europe
Dear TT-Forums Family;
Due to use of Mr. Shadow XIII's fine scenario of Europe, I've just finished
"Jim's Europe" scenario. This took me quite a while to "Tweak" and build
some pretty nice cities, but, I believe that it's one of my best scenarios,
with ample Industries and large airports. The cities are gorgeous in their
European settings, ranging from some 6,000 to 48,000 population. I tried
to keep in tact as much as possible the beautiful country scenery, which
you lucky people who live in Europe get to enjoy. (I wish that I lived there.)
Thanks again, Mr. Shadow XIII, for allowing me to use your fine scenario
to the which I was a small part of. Enjoy!!
Let me know what you think of "Jim's Europe", OK?
Always,
Jim Powers

Then.... don't play the scenario. Some people like it one way, some like it the other way.

Thanks for your Comments
Dear TT-Forum Friends;
Thanks for you replies, both pro & con. I do so want to understand,
Mr. Me_Simon, what you mean? You'd like that I should make smaller
cities and thus giving you more space to create railroads?
"Europe was a classic, create massive cities from towns of 30 people in it!!!"
The English isn't in a correct statment, so, I don't understand you, Sir.
Mr. Shadow XIII's original scenario, "Europe (Temperate), had that and
I liked that effect, but, Mr. shadow XIII wanted me to modify the scenario,
and I obliged. Take his scenario, which is excellent, and have some fun. I
hope I've made myself clear. I appreciate that you like my other
scenarios, and any suggestions are certainly wanted.
Now, for the those who want to know, I tried to make "Jim's Europe"
for a profitable airline and bus service. (To give those new bus graphics
a real chance to be enjoyed.) With a lot of industries in mind to challenge
you in installing a railway service for commercial and industrial use.
I hope I've achieved that.
Let me know if there are any other scenarios you'd like to see "tweaked".
Always,
Jim Powers

"Europe Classic"
Mr. Me_Simon;
Your input got me to thinking, so, I'm now taking the liberty again of
using Mr. Shadow XIII's scenario Europe (temperate), and I hope
he doesn't mind, and making "contained" cities throughout the whole
of this fine map. I'm even trying to keep the shoreline in tact as much
as possible so there's plenty of horseshoe bends going around the sea
coasts. I'm only allowing as little space as I can to build the cities and
left the starting year at 1930. There will be no pre-made space foe airports,
RR Depots, etc. , just connecting roads and coastline roads. Maybe I give
this map an interesting early '30's look in which one can allow it to evolve
onto a now present or futuristic empire. I've started on it tonight and will
inform our "TT-Forum" Family when it's complete.
I Thank all of you nice guys for all your comments and suggestions.
