Virginia Rails
Dear TT-Forums Family;
I've just released my latest scenario "Virginia Rails".
It is the 1st of my USA series of scenarios. For maximum
realism and enjoyment use Mr. Krtaylor and team US SET.
Take a moment and go to http://www.as-st.com/ttd/newusa
There is where you'll find among other interesting things,
Downloads for their fine USA Train Set, pictures, a brief history
of these unique USA trains, which even has a caboose!. A big
THANK YOU to Mr. Krtaylor and team!
Below is my scenario 'Virginia Rails'. I enhanced and tweaked
this scenario from the original scenario named "Eastern Shores
of Virginia". Any comments or suggestions are warmly welcomed.
Always,
Jim Powers
P.S. Don't forget to build the Erie Canal!

Why the link?
Dear Friend Mr. Shadow-XIII;
I noticed in red your SHADOW-XIII: link fixed
I didn't put it there. What's it's purpose? Do you know?
Mr. Singaporekid_92, you said "Oh, yes please remove the full stop at the
link u posted causes it causes it to get broken." Could you explain further
what you want, Sir? Thanks.
Always,
Jim Powers

I think that's what shadow-xiii fixed. you had a . inside a URL and it made the link give 404 errors. (I don't know, just guessing)
GoneWacko. Making #tycoon sexy and exciting since 1784.
Dear mister Powers,
You did put a dot ........ behind your link, and you captured it in the tags.
That's why the url didn't work, as the kid mentioned..
Shadow removed the dot for you, so the link works OK now.

Thanks Guys!
Dear TT-Forum Family;
A big thanks for helping an idiot like myself!
I just don't know all about those type of details. I just know that I'm very
fortunate to be in a forum with people who care and are willing to help.
I'm trying to contribute (what little I can) to help make our fantastic game
more enjoyable. I appreciate your team spirit!

Why Sir?
Dear Mr. Singaporekid_92;
I don't know about Singapore, Sir, but in the USA all males can be
called Mister no matter their age. I just my way of being. I was raised
to be polite, courteous, and respectful to others, as I'm sure other countries
teach this to. Thanks for you kind words.

Second in US SET Series
Dear TT-Forums Family;
In a few days We;ll be releasing our finest scenario yet!
"Northeast Rails"
This scenario has mega cities and plenty of industries with a
mountian range running right through the middle of it. A little
more testing and adjusting and then....... It;s out!

Hi JP
That looks promising.... very nice
I haven't played any off your scenarios yet, I have to admit, (mainly because of the lack of time) but this one I guess I will have to try...
Keep up your good work...

It's designed to be used with the US set. You'll give all the American passenger equipment a good hard workout with this one.

Yep, me sees double decker sunsets being used as commuter trains at later stages of the game....

And now we tune in live to a dumb-ass newbie question ...
yeah i'm pritty new to it all, i just start playing this game about a month ago
But i've got a Q for Mr. Powers (or anybody else who can solve it). Exactly how do you build these big cities? Just keep clicking the "expand" button? Tried that and after 30K it doesn't really increase fast anymore, plus the roads are a total mess, so how do you do that?
Many thanks

Well, but the trouble with them is they take longer to load/unload.The Irish wrote: Yep, me sees double decker sunsets being used as commuter trains at later stages of the game....

Welcome 8 Track!
Dear Mr. 8 Track;
You are new and we all welcome you to the fantastic world of TTDX!
Of course you are not the first to ask how to get large cities, Sir, and we
are more than willing to help you get the hang of it. So, take a little time and
read 1 through 16 pages in my topic "Jim Powers Saved Games" and you'll
find the answers. If you pay attention to 4x4 squares and how to place your
commercial building, they (cities) will become larger in no time.
Have fun, Sir. Come around and see the everchanging world of TTDX.
Always,
Jim Powers

Northeast Rails has arrived!
Dear TT-Forums Family;
My latest and I believe one of the finest scenarios "Northeast Rails".
I built this one from 'scratch', with tremendous help from my New England
friend Krtaylor. Check out his website which is filled with exciting pics,
train data, and downloads and especially that most excellent US train set
US SET, which is a MUST for 'Northeast Rails'. This US SET is a whole set
of American Trains ranging from the early '20 to now, and even beyond.
This US SET comes with everything you'd need to enhance your American
game pleasure, (even has a caboose!) Great fun!
Mr. Krtaylor site is: http://www.as-st.com/ttd/newusa
"Northeast Rails", is the 2nd scenario in our American Train Series. It's
set up for subways, commuter and long distance trains and has plenty of
room for those industries to get and give supplies, which we all like to
have fun with. Also, Large airport spaces are available and, of course, we
wouldn't forget the Ports and Harbors for shipping lines and cruise ships
either. And, along with all that, I put in a mountain range, that challenges
the most experienced TTDX player!
Just have some real fun and if you let me know what you like (or
dislike) about my scenarios, I'd certainly appreciate it.
