Railway Drag Race "The Coal Power"
Welcome to the world's only track for locomotive racing on 1/4 of the map! The facility is sponsored by the local power plant, and the winners of individual categories can count on lucrative contracts. At the moment, the first eliminations in the super heavy class have just started. Each locomotive pulls a load of over 2,000 tons. Although the parameters are very different, each of the locomotives has a strong side and the win is not obvious.
On the first track Union Pacific 4000 also called Big Boy - the most powerful steam locomotive ever created.
On the second track Southern Pacific GS-4 "Daylight". Not as powerful as Big Boy, but with a higher top speed of 177 km/h.
On the third track Union Pacific EMD DDA40X called Centennial - the most powerful single-unit diesel locomotive in the world.
The fourth track is occupied by the strongest in the group, produced by Alstom for the Kazakh railway KZT KZ8A - one of the most powerful modern electric locomotives, easily handling loads weighing up to 9000 tons. 2000 should be no challenge for he, but will a top speed of 120 km/h be enough to win on the 400 tiles? No one here cares about the speed limits of the wagons! Winning is not obvious at all!
They have started! KZT clearly took the lead! Will he keep them until the end?! Will Big Boy's extra 8 km/h be enough to catch up with the Kazakh beast? Or will Daylight manage to reach its top speed? It can be hard with such a load, but who knows! No one knows how the diesel Centennial will behave either. This can be a dark horse of this race!
