Bridges and Viaducts is the theme .
Get out your spanners and start crossing those rivers, or anything else that gets in the way.

I agree.
I tried to come up with a pun to reply, but couldn't. Puns are though for non-native speakers
The city of Habrook, located where the two branches of the river Wren are joined by the (smaller) river Shorn.
How about we set a temporary rule? Only the devs participate featuring the new features ...And we all get to vote on the best presentation.kamnet wrote: 29 Sep 2021 04:34 As we are nearing the end of this month's competition, I would like to throw out an idea for next month's theme. OpenTTD 12.0 is coming close to being released soon, and it carries some new features that the devs would like to see promoted in the next title screen. What if we could get everybody on-board with creating a new title screen to enter into the competition?
That won't end well! *laughs*wallyweb wrote: 29 Sep 2021 06:19 How about we set a temporary rule? Only the devs participate featuring the new features.
I don't think there will be many competitors. There are already fewer and fewer from month to month, and when there are three this month, we will be happy.wallyweb wrote: 29 Sep 2021 06:19

very nice screenshot!
I'm ok with this. When the September winner is declared why don't you get together with him/her and perhaps arrange a blend of the winner's topic and the devs' request.kamnet wrote: 29 Sep 2021 04:34 As we are nearing the end of this month's competition, I would like to throw out an idea for next month's theme. The Great Isles of Bridge-o-Mania ...
Thanks! Great to see I wasn't left alone
This is a good idea! The Title screen competition deadline is only in a few days, do you know if there are plans to extend the deadline? I've been working on a submission myself, I think I can have something done by sunday, but it would be nice to merge both competitions and have a little more time.kamnet wrote: 29 Sep 2021 04:34 As we are nearing the end of this month's competition, I would like to throw out an idea for next month's theme. New features include the ability to move the camera around in the title screen, I think that is the most visible one. Other new features are: easier to use multiplayer system, and, the one I'm most happy about, NewGRF limit increased to 255
Nice easteregg hidden in the picture

It had a prosperous time with the old route crossing it, the merchants were happy because the travelers stopped for lunch before continuing on their way ... but since the new interstate route that crosses the river was built, everything changed... the cars no longer cross the city and young people prefer to take the train to the capital city to work every day. The great historical buildings are witnesses of better times...
