Re: [OTTD]DWE - Station tiles Set
Great set here. If I use it.. and then a newer version is released.. will it still be compatible? Or will it be all brokened?
Re: [OTTD]DWE - Station tiles Set
well, to avoid changed grapics to also change ingame i will make it not compatible with early version.
i already wanted to put out a new version and also from the newobjects dwe set, but i have been wááy too busy these days. i hope to get some time back within some weeks.

Re: [OTTD]DWE SET (Station Tiles/NewObjects)
Personally, I think the fences look abit too cartooney? They don't really seem to fit in.
Something similar to these fences in FIRS would look A LOT better I think;
Just my two cents

how about something like this:
its more like a concrete wall thing
or
or 1 more option:
Re: [OTTD]DWE SET (Station Tiles/NewObjects)
is it "glitschy" if the fences are exact on the gridline?
(meaning that either you use a tile where the fence is on the upper right line or a tile with it on the down left line, they would fit)

Re: [OTTD]DWE SET (Station Tiles/NewObjects)
well basicly you dont want to put the graphic "outside" the box of the tile.Ammler wrote:is it "glitschy" if the fences are exact on the gridline?

although i think its possible to make it

for the fences i will make some variation for middle tile and side of tiles i think
i think will go for fence option 3 btw, personally i like it the most ( and i hope you people too

option 3 was:

Yeah, that third one looks best. Much more realistic!Dante123 wrote:well basicly you dont want to put the graphic "outside" the box of the tile.Ammler wrote:is it "glitschy" if the fences are exact on the gridline?

Re: [OTTD]DWE SET (Station Tiles/NewObjects)
Wow, really like those fences!
I would have gone for the 3rd one, too
maybe a tad darker?
but that's nitpicking..

Re: [OTTD]DWE SET (Station Tiles/NewObjects)
Can ya make 'em 2CC? *ducks*
I like the third one, blends in really nice. As for spacing, the middle of the tile looks nice, I tend to use the ones which are near the edges. They don't have to be right on the edge, a few pixels off are fine. It gives me the option to position them either with the fence line very close to the edge of the property I'm bounding, with a company-owned land buffer around it, or flip them around and put an extra buffer around the property with the fence line as the edge of the property itself.

Re: [OTTD]DWE SET (Station Tiles/NewObjects)
I'd like to suggest that the ground tile part could remain visible also in transparent mode. It would allow to actually see the station when transparency is switched on.
In any case: This set is a true must-have if one wants to build nice stations.

Re: [OTTD]DWE SET (Station Tiles/NewObjects)
I have a question;
Is there a reason as to why there are several exact copies of the same shed included? I noticed this when improving this set - for my own personal use of course - and looking at the example below there are 4 each of the first shed and 3 each of the second one, all of them buildable in game but with no visual difference, or at least not from what I can see...

Most probably by means of bad coding.SAC wrote: Is there a reason as to why there are several exact copies of the same shed included? [...]
