Could thay be made in to depots - they'd be more realistic IMO?including animated dry docks.

Depots can't be animated. And not really without a roof, as then the disappearing ships would be even weirder.

i believe (i will have to check my maritime information though) that in the US the read and green markers are reversed.

I love the dry dock, looks great with either the default TTD/OpenTTD depot or the ISR depot.
