They are only tiny little points, but the rest of your drawings are such high quality I think this one will stand out as cg

Wow, this has to be the longest topic I've ever seen where there is no real shared content.
So all that visual goodness is in your game only?

If you read any of this 'longest topic' you'd realise that yes, it is. It is not worth raising this again, we (well most of us) respect SACs decision to do whatever she wants to do with her graphics. She is under no obligation to release them.Buggi wrote:Wow, this has to be the longest topic I've ever seen where there is no real shared content.

If you are competent with coding in NML or NFO, you can make your own personal GRF (i.e. you don't share it publicly) using the graphics SAC has posted over the years. That way you can have many of the features in SAC's shots in your own games, but there are still a couple pieces you will lack, as they've not been posted in a entirely usable format, since the complete sources have never been made public.

but of course, distributing it will be in breach of copyright...Supercheese wrote:If you are competent with coding in NML or NFO, you can make your own personal GRF (i.e. you don't share it publicly) using the graphics SAC has posted over the years. Re: [WIP] INFRA by SAC
As michael suggests SAC has nothing against her graphics being released at some point. As I understand it she just wants them properly finished before releasing them rather than releasing them in little chunks, or missing construction stages, or similar.michael blunck wrote:There´s rumour that SAC´s graphics are being implemented.
Re: [WIP] INFRA by SAC
There's also the consideration that SAC herself will sometimes use other people's graphics for her own personal usage, and doesn't have the clearance to release them as a mod either, but can post them here in screenshots. It makes the copyright issue a bit more muddy.
Me? I'd just leave them alone until SAC actually release them in a distributable format. Which, truth be told, may never happen. She's been working on this for years and seems to be in no rush to do anything but build in her own game and watch time pass by. But, that's okay with me, I love watching what she creates. Maybe, one day, I'll get to see it all - whether or not I actually get to play it.

Re: [WIP] INFRA by SAC
Personally, I don't know how much I'd use them. Yes, I am a massive fan of her drawings, they look great, but I could never do them justice in my games. They'd just look like a poor version of the towns SAC sculpts. Perhaps some of the newobjects, OTOH, would be very useful.

Notice the "don't share it" in my original post.Lord Aro wrote:but of course, distributing it will be in breach of copyright...Supercheese wrote:If you are competent with coding in NML or NFO, you can make your own personal GRF (i.e. you don't share it publicly) using the graphics SAC has posted over the years. It's frustrating that on http://www.simuscape.net/ it says "Click Simuscape logo below to Enter!", to find out that it does not workSAC wrote:michael blunck wrote:There´s rumour that SAC´s graphics are being implemented.

That's because I had some late minute changes to attend to - design wise I mean...habell wrote: It's frustrating that on http://www.simuscape.net/ it says "Click Simuscape logo below to Enter!", to find out that it does not work

Yeah, each artist projects are not open to a public audience as this is how they want it to be - during the development process anyway.
