Do I understand it right that the thing of the left is rails? If so, then the scale was not chosen properly. It should be smaller to fit with trains.ISA wrote:It should be around 12 tiles long and 8 wide or other way around, not sure tough haven't put it on the grid yet
Its an conveyor belt and also moves on caterpillars. The conveyor belt itself isn't meant to be moving!George wrote:Do I understand it right that the thing of the left is rails? One thing I would do is increase the size of the shovel to almost 2X. These suckers were BIG!

I was holding up room and tried to make it look like overburden is piled against the buildings otherwise the mine is going too big... Btw at the beginning when I start drawing the mine I wanted just an open pit mine with machinery and no buildings (I still think there's plenty of stations sets what we can use to add "mine infrastructure" to the open coal mine) Reason I tried this kind of mine was that people said its too empty....Ameecher wrote:I think the thing that does it is that the buildings are so close to the edge making it look like the edge is over the base of the buildings implying a heap rather than a hole.

Haven't done nothing with the ground inside the mine and the ramp. Just copy/paste the ground to have some kind of base.alluke wrote:Shouldn't the big shovel leave some tracks in the ground?
ISR is our friend.ISA wrote:Ameecher wrote:(I still think there's plenty of stations sets what we can use to add "mine infrastructure" to the open coal mine)
That's what I'm also talking about... and some other ones! Also heard rumors that Canadian stations includes coal loading and unloading infrastructure if it gets released one day....wallyweb wrote:ISR is our friend.ISA wrote:Ameecher wrote:(I still think there's plenty of stations sets what we can use to add "mine infrastructure" to the open coal mine)
