Make all the towns grow in editor mode
Hello,
I would like to expand all the cities of a scenario simultaneusly
Is there a way to make all cities to grow in editor mode?
I mean: a way to force "town is growing" for all towns, and let them to grow by not pausing the game.

Found a workaroud:
1. Download OpenTTD 1.0 source
2. Apply patch from http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=32964
3. Compile ( it takes long time. For me it worked after few attempts).
4. Open a scenario you want
5. In the console use:

Edit mode, is that the Scenario Creator you are referring to?
Click a town, there are 3 buttons in the bottom row of the window. The middle button says Expand. Click it. Granted this only expands one city at a time but it will get the job done after a while...

And if you patch OpenTTD, the scenario isn't going to work with any other version of OpenTTD.

Oh, wait, wow... WOW that's a huge dig there. So completely forgotten about it. Bilbo really did do some good work there. He needs to revive this and get it re-written.

that really depends on what is changed. if you only change the user interface, without changing the savegame structure (you cannot add/change settings, which need to be stored in the savegame), then the savegames can be loaded in the unpatched game.kamnet wrote:And if you patch OpenTTD, the scenario isn't going to work with any other version of OpenTTD.
