On to my question.. I don't know if this is a bug, expected behavior, my stupidity-ignorance (likely).
If I build a train that has, say, a dual-headed engine with a capacity for 4 bags of mail in each end (sorry, I'm using a NewGRF so probably easier if I don't name a specific vehicle) and attach 4 livestock vans to it it would create the following capacities:
- 4 bags of mail
- 25 livestock
- 25 livestock
- 25 livestock
- 25 livestock
- 4 bags of mail
If I use "full load any," it might leave the station with only 4 bags of mail. If I use "full load all," if there's no mail "catching" at that station it might sit there forever. The only solution I've found is to refit the train, but that is expensive and seems counterintuitive. Am I missing something? If this is 'how it works', is there a patch that will ignore engine-based cargo capacities when it comes to full load orders?
Thanks for reading my ramble.
