yes we DO need a school(bus)-mod

this bus is just another request from locomotion-fanpage.net hehe. that look comes from the first object the bus was. sounds funny.

that is a bit too yellow. maybe spray a little orange on it? or just dirty it up a touch? looks great otherwise.

edit looking again it is not the yellow i think the lighting is a bit bright? maybe it is the yellow, school bus yellow is a touch of orange in it.

yeah, still in alpha-stage

the lightning is still to bright. it´s the same light-setup i use in all the other models. maybe the yellow could a bit darker, with more red. its always a problem with the loco-palette. before conversion it looks quite good. but after.. ok i change the color. and make the black stripes bigger so i can see them

then comes a mirror to look behind. and a STOP-sign on the other side.

what about the size? should it be bigger? smaller?

should it include stoplights? passengers (empty,half/full-load)?

cant tell the size from here. i would guess close to the ingame gm classic?

Nice job. School buses in Sweden isn´t very normal, so I can´t really say if it looks like a real school bus or not, but I think it looks very good

as far as i can see, for the scale. he has it dead on. just the color looks odd or it is the lighting. try making the color of the bus in your avitar?

thank you for your replies

i'll make the yellow a bit darker and more red. no problem there. the windows will be as much transparent as possible. still don't know if i implement little passengers into it.

this bus was made from scratch. i had a little very helping template of course. see attached image. there you see it looks not exactly like the original but that's no problem because of the game-engine. 'little' less detailed.

there will be mirrors, changed colors and then it could be released i think. thank you all for your help.

Great job what's the next project now? This one seem to only take 3 days... Well yeah I guess the school bus was easy because irl they are made cheaply atlest here in canada they are.
