Subject: Transistion Roads.

Did 4 transistion roads. They will work for some roads, but not all due to the wider roads some have shoulders and some don't.

It something I would like to work on more later on as I think a road from a town be wide for a certain distance and then narrows if it not a busy road.

Can make real roads to look like that, but vehicles will not travel down the middle .. they would drive half on and half of the narrow bitumen :D .

Did you know that the "Fake Airport Objects" has these antennas and radar?

The radar is animated and it actually turns.

Hope they can keep you busy until I get a chance to make a few of my own.

I might be able to do the one in first image as already have some of that already built months ago but just never had chance to finish.

The antenna on left of that image I have some of those but still to paint and add radar too them.

The others IF I get chance at a later date might give them a try. Circular Dome will not be easy to design. Tried to do one for weather radar but failed many attempts.

Since narrow roads are used mainly for places with barely any traffic (as you said your self), i don't think thats a problem. :wink:

I cant easily find the sources, but he can be simply reached by PM I think.

With regards to your Overlapping Roundabouts,
Could you also do a version with just the middle, so without any tarmac/sidewalks?
That way they can be more usable for different looking roads.
Also, maybe more (multi-click) options for the graphics on the actual tile (so multiple churches, multiple playgrounds, watertowers with various base-tiles, couple more houses)?
And/or a mix-up (so each type of roundabout-centre has a couple of Houses/Churches/Watertowers/Playgrounds)?

In The Netherlands, we have a lot of these mini-roundabouts that are used to just slow down traffic (also on T-crossings)

I've been updating AuzLandscapeObjects latest version on 'Find online content' about a hours ago to add more additional eyecandy objects (previously updates only on TT-Forums than BaNaNas), now i'm regarding about to Tree eyecandy objects on Trees section @ Australian Landscape Objects (AuzLandscape Objects) should turned to be 'dedicated' tree set 'Australian Tree Replacement Set', (below) :

If a 'Tree eyecandy objects' from Trees section @ Australian Landscape Objects (AuzLandscape Objects) became 'dedicated tree set', maybe you can randomly generating Australian trees in 3 climates at the start of game or scenario editor, but Rangers Tower and Burning trees is not included.

Those and what" pavelk" mentioned could be able to do something with them. FIRS also has some round tanks too which I had forgotten about.

Been looking at that. I have 4 different water tanks and churches, just a matter finding suitable buildings.

But before I work on any of those .. I having problems with the traffic lights. First test showed the lights on all 4 corners, but not since I lowed them by 2 pixels one corner of intersections not showing any lights.

See if I can figure out where I went wrong tomorrow.

Not a bad idea but not all those trees are Australian trees. Probably be good idea if I place Trees that are available in Australia in their own menu.

After lots of careful work, the latest version of all AuzObjects are now available from the in-game content download service (BaNaNaS). This should make it easier for everyone to update, although the most cutting-edge updates will still be here on TT-Forums first.

To facilitate faster downloading, if you desire to obtain all of the files at once, simply select "AuzObjects 1-Click Downloader" and all files will automatically be installed for you.

Thank you, GarryG, for allowing me to help manage this for the community. I think hundreds of thousands of people are suddenly going to be very appreciative of the new world that's just opened up to them. :)

So much appreciated .. Not sure if I would have got time to do that this week as I planned.

Got no chance to do some of the few things that members has asked for above till Friday at earliest. Today was train riding day. Tomorrow shopping and medical appointments. Thursday train riding if weather permits. That leaves only Friday spare. Saturday and Sunday hoping Ragin_ and I can start working on trains.

would it sound reasonable to have a variant of the single lane roads but with concrete? it would make it fit in more in urban areas as alleyways

Tried to do these last Friday but kept making mistakes and they would work, so had a weekend break from coding and tried again this morning.
What you will find:
* 4 2x2 Service Stations.

Absolutely love the gas stations and use them a lot in recent games.

However, would it be possible to also have "mirrored" versions - with the company signs and the roof over the pumps to the left and top, respectively?

It looks kind of strange when you place the stations to the right or bottom of a street in a larger (3x3 or more) "street grid" since the main building with cashier is usually away from the street.
