How to use default signals?
I'm trying to start a world with several newgrfs. However, I don't want to use the signals included in one of them (they're much harder to see), but they replace the default one. Is there any way to use the default openttd signals? Thanks in advance.
I've played for years, but I'm still stupid.

Re: How to use default signals?
As far as I know, there can only be one signal set in a game, if you do not count in the distinction between light signals and semaphores.ProbablyIdiot wrote: 23 May 2023 10:44 I'm trying to start a world with several newgrfs. Thus, unless there is an option to switch off the new signals of a particular NewGRF, I think the only other way to get back to the default OTTD signals is to simply not use the NewGRF that replaces them with some own ones ...
Re: How to use default signals?
... or you put another GRF that changes the signals again lower in the list of active NewGRFs

What NewGRF are you using that's changing the signals?

Re: How to use default signals?
UKRS2 is old and doesn't have different signals. SUKTS does offer a different style of signals, and you can override this to use the default signal graphics in the game settings.ProbablyIdiot wrote: 26 May 2023 15:15I think ukrs2 or sukts, but I'm not sure. (sorry for the late reply)
Interface -> Viewports -> Signals -> Show all signals using default graphics.

It doesn't show up in my settings (they are set to expert mode):UKRS2 is old and doesn't have different signals. SUKTS does offer a different style of signals, and you can override this to use the default signal graphics in the game settings.

Re: How to use default signals?
My apologies, I thought I was running the stock client. That setting is only available in the JGRPP Patch Pack client. So, with that said, I can't find any way around this other than not using the set, or talking to its developer about being able to enable or disable it.ProbablyIdiot wrote: 27 May 2023 06:19 It doesn't show up in my settings (they are set to expert mode):
