UK towns etc.

Post by Leasider »

Hi.
Am new to this forum having just got back to TTD after too many years.
Looking thru the start up screen I see that there 'options' for different town names roads etc.
Can someone explain how i download these that is IF it is possible. Is there a charge for these ?
I am a basic computer user and not up on programming language so if it involves too complicated works the i will have to stick with the standard 'as supplied' information.
Many thanks.

Hi and welcome.

The town names you can select between in the Game Options screen are all built in to the game, they don't require any downloads or anything else to work. The catch is that they only take effect when you start a new game.
So, to get town names with a different theme, you would start from the title screen, go to Game Options, select a town naming scheme, close the game options again, then click New Game, and go from there.
