Using Original GFX/Music on Android version

Post by InfiniteRetro »

hey guys, i love playing the pc version of this awesome mod and have been playing TT since it came out back in the day. Recently I have acquired it on android and while it runs awesome on the tablet, im not the biggest fan of the new music etc. I have the original ttdx and wondered how do you get the android version to use the original music and or sound effects/graphics.

any help would be awesome, done a few google searches and surprisingly not many people have been asking this same thing.

I could be wrong, but looks like the directory should be /storage/<yourdevice>/Android/data/org.openttd.sdl/files/baseset , with <yourdevice> being the internal or external storage your device defaults to. Either drop the original music (titled gm_ttxx.gm) either in that folder, or put them in a subfolder and move the orig_win.obm file into that folder as well.
