I've been playing this newgrf for a while and I must say you've done some awesome work on it
But as of 0.2.1 and later, my trains seems to have lost all their sounds, breakdown sounds are still present though, just the whistles and running sounds are gone. I don't have the "disable running sounds" option on, but I have turned it on and off to se if it was just a error in the parameters. Apparently it wasn't.
Any idea on how to solve this problem or is it a bug I have found?

Had the same problem, spent ages checking what I had downloaded, computer settings etc.
Simple answer...put UKRS at the top of your GRF list and then it works!
Extended version vehicles will always be active if the add-on set is loaded, regardless of locomotive selection parameter.
17/03/12 - Beaufort
Added new colour maps for the Coronation ('blue and silver' and 'maroon and gold').
Added buy menu text hints for the King Arthur and Klondyke.
Added London Underground Stock (Gate Tube, New Works Tube, Victoria Tube and Adtranz Tube).
Main set and Add-on set downloadable from Bananas.
Yummy The add-on set keeps getting better! New colour maps on the coronation look good, looks like you forgot to update the purchase menu sprites however
It's nice how you don't get de-streamlining of the built coronations till after the war
The only issue I have now that that some of the addon loco's such as the king Arthur's make strange noises. Instead of normal train running sounds I head tram bells and aircraft landing!!!!!!!!! lol....amusing but strange!
there is a glitch with the class 313 it makes steam train horns as it move all the time, again just a small issue & it takes nothing away from a brilliant set which has been put together
lol now a lot of sounds for other sets have good odd, I have trams which squeak like toy mice and planes that make the noise of what can only be described as a pogo stick bouncing!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can those having sound issues please post savegames.
I'm wondering if this isn't an bug in OpenTTD; the sound index may be only a single byte, so with 73 original sounds, plus 55 from UKRS, plus 55 from the addon... stick in a few more sets with sounds and you might overflow. This sounds like a job for test.grf.

The sound index is 16bit-sized, so that's not the problem. However, to say anything more:

Thank you very very much for UKRS. It is by far the best trainset in OpenTTD for me. I love it...A LOT.
I would like to make a simple suggestion, that you take the Class 325 and convert it into a Class 465...I belive it can't be too hard. Might be nice even to make the whole Network family from it!
Just trying to download the 0.2.2 but it doesn't show up on Bananas at all. I downloaded one of the previous versions there, but atm there's only the UK Renewal Set. I have OpenTTD 1.1.3.
Is there something wrong again?

Interesting. I downloaded panzerblitz262's save game and have the same issues with the add-on set trains (but not the main grf trains). Following a train and removing random grfs one by one, the sounds it plays changes until eventually it settles on the right ones. It definitely seems like a problem with the sound index and having multiple sound-using grfs loaded at once.

Wouldn't be too hard, but the Networkers don't really fit an available niche in TTD-world. The 465 has a top speed of 75mph, but the slam door units already in the set do 90mph.
