Whopper! You made best work!
I love these screenshots much and this inspires me, too!
This Articel should be honoured on the OpenTTD Main Site in Category Screenshots!

EDIT: One Question, which Graphicprogram do you use?

For the screenshots I used photoshop.

Will probably upload a slightly updated version soon as I once again found quite some bugs in the map :)

Great to see this still being worked on! I think this qualifies as an "epic" map... I really want to get in there with Engine pool and get a couple of different train sets going :D

Wow. That looks amazing. I'll give it a try...

As Dan Mack says, this map is "epic". After having a first glance on it, I have to say that I really love the level of detail and everything. How long have you worked on this thing?

I just started a game with the US Set, but as DanMack says, the Engine Pool will really work out well on this scenario

For those interested: I've been working again on a new version that will hopefully be released in a month or so :) Some features in it:

- Updated most 'minor' towns and suburbs (some are completely redone)
- Population increase to 5.5 million
- Much more detail to the 'countryside' of many areas with many new villages, farms and plantations.
- Much more

Could you make room for railways in the cities?

...please? (Or maybe release two versions)

Besides, why not put it on Bananas?

I can't play it, for 2 reasons:
- Too big, computer can't run it very well
- I don't want to touch anything! Touching anything would spoil it!

I like it the way it is. :)
You have to do some thinking about how to make railways in the cities, without destroying half of the city!
To me that is a nice change from many other scenarios, and quite realistic :)
In most of the cities it is possible to make railway stations near the downtown area, without removing some of the big houses, and too much terraforming. Of cause you have to remove some slums and single story houses, but its better than removing big houses.

And I really enjoy the quality of the scenario. There are so many nice details on this map. :D

At the moment I'm playing a game on this map, with CargoDist, daylength and IS, and it's very fun. For a while I have been wanting to share some screenshots and do a little storytelling of this game, but so far I have only been playing, because thats the fun part ;)
I might make a screenshot thread soon, because I do have the old savegames, so I can go back and tell the story.

Is there a specific reason you need 2.xx rather than the updated Cindini 3 map?

Oh, yes. I remember that now. Version 3 was made with an OpenTTD version that wasn't compatible with CPP.

So, here's the deal... I found this copy over on the German TT forums. Based on the date of upload it does appear to be Cindini 2.0, however they added some NewGRFs. I could open it in ChillCore Patchpack v14_7, but to be as backwards-compatible as possible, I also edited it in OpenTTD 1.0.0 to remove those NewGRFs. This DOES throw up an error that if you unpause the game, it may crash. So, caveat emptor. That said, I opened it both ChillCore Patchpack v14_7, as well as OpenTTD 1.3.1, and it seemed to run fine without any errors. Still, because this is an edited scenario file that modified NewGRFs, YOUR GAME MAY BE PERMANENTLY CORRUPTED.

I've also put out a few e-mails to individuals who I know for sure at one time had played with Cindini 2.0. If one of them are able to contribute, I'll point them here and remove my links. Consider these released under the same license as Cindini 2.0.

If wanted I can upload three versions of Cindini, it is nice to be able to gaze at snapshots?

Namely,
Cindini 0.1 BETA
Cindini1.0.1
Cindini 2.0

All three guaranteed unmodified (gauranteed as in from here to the frontdoor, you'll have to take my word for it  ).

There are four but I do not know if "Cindini Test2" is a "released" version or if it has that name because of me.
Anyway test ...

Before I proceed,
Did anyone ask Whopper how he feels about us uploading his old files again and is/was there a license?

Whopper,
Did you reove the files on purpose or is it just a dead link?
Also I dare not open your scenarios because three hours later I am still gazing and have yet to start picking a starting spot ... stunning. ;)

Playing with my patchpack? Ask questions on usage and report bugs in the correct thread first, please.
All included patches have been modified and are no longer 100% original.
