Omg i just want to shout "THE TRAIN BOSS!! THE TRAIN!!"..

Sorry.

BB has a completely revamped version of this map, Not sure why it is not out, but 3.0 is a lot better.

The Megapack update 1.0.1 pack for Lomo has the fixes and new stock just for ver 3.0 of this map.
I'm pretty sure MP update 1.0.2 will have more canadian stock as i have the sprites uncoded.

I am having PC issues and uploads are a bit iffy for me. I have a copy of the update on my laptop/thumbdrive but it might be missing a few items.

Of the items you mentioned you like. you have some suprises in store in the next few days/weeks
North American sets and then some...
US SET Ver 3.1.0 updated ~ Amtrak Pack 3.1.0 ~ US Passenger/Metro Set 3.1.0 updated~ Auto Factory 2.6 ~ VIA Rail Pack ~ LTD ED1 Conrail Alcos ~ LTD ED2 NJ Transit ~ DBR E60 ~ TGV Duplex ~ Umbrella Corp. ~ Comboios de Portugal~ Dekosoft UP/BN/BNSF Sets ~ ICE // MegaPack = 1.0.3.

the new map has more realistic lake edges, the plains have been completely revamped to make them not as boring, and a few other things. looks A LOT better. plastik is modding and throwing in surprises and then it will be released. A LOT of what plastik is making is absolutely beautiful. :D

Thankx Plastkman. I'll keep a watch for it. Oh and don't worry about the joking. I get a good laugh when someone does that. But actually I did Tattoos before and that's how got that nickname.

I also have another question concerning the North American set. Is there a 'LTD. ED. 3 - UP Power' installer somewhere? I did a search for it and didn't find anything about it. I have everything else but that.Thanx.

thast is a taboo subject around here, some people pirated models and released them, so now they arte locked up, they essentialy don't exist.

He was saying that to you Tattoo. there was a bit of piracy of models going on, so they were pulled from the net...

Oh really. I didn't understand what he was talking about. So he was talking about the LTD ED. 3? But how or why would one pirate models of these trains? I don't get it. Everything is offered for free. Either way, so that means that I don't get the pleasure of using those? That BLOWS!

most models are converted from MSTS, people spend lots of time, and moeny, making those models, and some people saw it fit to convert and re-distribute these models without permision, lots of bad stuff going down behind the scenes.

Oh OK. Now I understand. Thanx for the headsup. Ya know I got Microsoft Train Simulator and I played it a long time ago. I think I remember that I didn't like it much but really don't remember. I'm gonna have to take it out again and check it out again to see what it's about. From what I'm reading, Lomo is better. Actually, I was just converted over to Lomo and I 'just' deleted my OTTD folder. I like Lomo A LOT better. Don't get me wrong, I still like ottd but because of Lomo God, aka Plastikman, and all the engines and cars he's making for it, I'm liking Lomo A LOT more than OTTD. I do like that I can change the output of the industries in OTTD but I like the way Lomo looks. The trains are just bad-ass and all the damn trains that Plastik has is just unbelievable. So I switched over to Lomo and I don't think I'll be playing OTTD in the near future. Maybe just to see what new things they made for it recently. They are all hard at work with new graphics and much more for the game that I thought died a long time ago. I bought the game back in 1995 when it came out and didn't know about the deluxe version until recently. In Lomo, I like that one can build bridges that curve and are actually curves instead of a 45 degree angled track. Altho, OTTD does have the sh't for stations. All the different stations with the different cargos that one can see is pretty good. I'm hoping to see something like that in Lomo. I've been looking around and seeing some new things. I installed one new station, railway depot.zip from the fanpage but can't get it to show up in a game and I selected it in the scenerio editor and started a new game. I'm wondering if it needs a german version since the fan page is in german. Duuno. I'll mess with it later. Oops, sorry for ramblin' on.

Thanx again for everyone's hard work that add to this game. I hope to contribute some how soon..

there are people that are willing to help you edit an trackst.dat. starting a thread in general locomotion area of the forum is the best place to take this conversation and see who can help you answer your questions. this thread not really the place to hold it, not everyone checks this part of the forum. :D

I finally got to play this map and I have to say, "Very nice". But I'll tell ya, what a long way from the forest to the sawmill. OMG. And I'll tell ya something else. I HATE BREAKDOWNS!!!! Why the heck did Chris Sawyer put that in the game? I think it would be a lot better without them. Just my personal opinion. Now I have to go thru the engines to figure out which ones are in there and wrap em. That'll take a minute but call me a cheater, I don't care. I can't stand them breakdowns. Thank you for the kewl map. Very nicely layed out. I had a shortcut thru the mountain by the oilwells before ya get to the other side before I realized that there shouldn't be one. I did go around the water when I seen it but left the shortcut there and the trains didn't take the shortcut. They went around the lake. I would think that they'd go for the shorter route. Hmm. So I just took it out. I'm gonna check out the videos again to see how the other guy layed the track to see if I got it close to the same. Even tho there isn't much room for diference. Thanx again. I got it to play finally after I got the CLW_North_American_MEGAPACK_UPDATE.1.0.1 update. That made everything good.
Thanx again Plastikman for all your trains. You are surely are the 'Lomo God'!

Trains will always turn towards the destination, even if it is actually farther.

Thank you bluebeetle for the info but I do already use both of them and Loco_mod2. That is what I meant when I said I need to wrap them to not breakdown. I have done A LOT of them already. I have all the Dash 7,8, &9's done as well as all the metra and some passengers I like as well as a bunch of other high power engine and the lil yard engines I like. I just didn't get around to doing them all yet. I did make the ones I did no breakdowns and no obsoletion but I think I'll change the no obsoletion back and play the scenerios the way it's suppose to be. I just did it to play without interuptions and not have to wait to see the engines. But to play someones scenerio I think it would be better to experience them if they adhered to the era instead of having trains going that don't belong in certain years. Altho I can do what I want with them and I do when I want to see a steam loco running at full pace in the year 2075 or something like that. 8) But to get the true meaning of an era would be better when they expire when they should. I want to check out the Umbrella group trains next. But my favorite so far is the red, white and blue coastguard and the red and white sant fe plus all the lil yard engines that I road in when I was a kid.
