after talking to a few people and getting some idea's to make this map more playable. The pass was moved to the middle of the map, shortened in length and easier to lay track I finally have a map where laying track is much easier, the climb is more gradual, more room for undustries, and the mountains look better.

there are three types of this map, and they are all included in the .rar:

1. landscape; no industries, you need provo installed, do to using weeds and so forth to make the map look nice.
2. Moded, default equipment: you need provo, auto mod, and plastik''s lumber mod.
3. plastik moded: you need provo, auto mod, and plastik''s lumber mod, also:

all from ami:

Dekosoft BN Pack (Needs UP Pack) 1.0.5 - (6MB, EXE inside Zip)
Dekosoft UP, Provo Scenario and Mini Scenery Pack 1.0.5 - (24Meg, EXE in zip)
North American Megapack 1.0.0 (Cargo, Amtrak, Classic Pass) - (98MB, EXE in ZIP)

you also need the Limited_Edition_pack_1_Conrail_Alcos release, if you need that pm me.

there is a tunnel exactly like this in the pass, so i made sure we had one in this pass:

Hello for everybody and Merry Christmas!!!

I´ve a problem:
I install all the mega-super-hiper-wonder packs from Mr Plastikman ( a semi-God between the mankind!!) but when i load the modded version of the scenario... surprise, surprise: where is UST1DLWR.dat¿?¿?

I use THE SEARCH but nothing of nothing (nada de nada monada)

Please someone can help me¿? Thanks

Do you have the conrail alcos? PM bluebeetle about it. The LTD pack link in the mega pack dosn't work.

Yes, I´ve the good old pack´s jejeje. I installed the old packs and later the new packs, but the file don´t exist. I also took the Jose´s pack but nothing. Can be tha the scenario was created with beta *.dats that no has been released¿?¿? (sorry for my english, but i´m spanish and don´t use the english from my college days...)

Try it again. I did the same thing with the Dekosoft packs megapack then do dekosoft in this order UP then BN then the addons.
Something goes here, hell if I know.

Thank you for the tip. I´ll try later if it solve the problem, meanwhile can you check if you have the file and post it¿?¿? I searched for it and found some *.dat files similiar but not ended *WR.dat, i found UST1DL86 and other similar but I know that renaming the file is not a valid option. Thanks Cody for your help!!

Do you have the auto mod installed? Plus as long you post in english we don't care that much about puncuation. I searched though my Object data and after 5 minutes of searching ididn't found it. PM plaskiman maby?

that is a plastik file but no beta's were involved, i reinstalled loco before modding it. no one else has had a problem with that particular file, so one of the packs must not be installed. i dealt with the problem through pm. researching what that file is right now.

UST1DLWR are the US Tank Car Single Dome White Rose that is in the mega pack, and have been apart of the north american packs for a while now, not sure why you would be missing those files.

i would reinstall the mega pack to fill in the gaps of anything else missing.

Yeah Merry Xmas 8) 8) !!!!!!! Thank Blubeete!! I say you the mega-pack i downloaded don´t appear the White Rose Dome tank that the ghost DAT file mine was!! But thank you again. Your maps are the best and your alliance with Plastikman are the best for us!! jajaja

haven't gave NEC map much thought yet, i know rdrdrdrdrd is working on a prr map. i am gonna finish the kick horse map, work on a new tehachapi map and probably an stevens or maria's pass map. i wouldn;t mind doing an sand patch or blue ridge map where clinchfield used to run till they become part of the seaboard family then csx.

maybe a new york central map, so much to choose from.

I just downloaded the map and the megapack, instaled them on my laptop and looked at the hive. UST1DLWR.dat did not make it into "megapack 1.0"

It is part of the L&PS Beta. it looks like bluebeetle tossed a rouge beta file into the map. I don't even have the file myself at the moment.


EDIT:

OK, I found the L&PS beta on the beta server. I see the confusion there are now 2 National Refining (White Rose) tank cars. a very early in the US sets and a medium early one in the L&PS set (beta). Im not sure how to fix this one because the final release one might have a differant dat name...

hrmm. best solution is to change the map to not that one file... or..... leave it and i release that file name in the patch when i get back..

I just downloaded this scenerio and have just installed all of Plistikmans packs and still have the same error also. I was wondering if you resolved this error? I watched the video you have for this and it looks good. I'd like to play this one.

Hey Plastikman. I thank you for all the great looking engines and everything else in your packs. I especially like the Conrail and Penn Central stuff. I was looking for some New York Central stuff but only seen a couple. I was hoping to see one of the small engines with a New York Central logo on it. They called them the yard engines. I don't know the actual names of em tho. I actually got to ride in one and work the gas as a kid. I was probably around 10 years old. I'm a Chicagoan myself and my dad worked for New York Central, then Penn Central, then Conrail. I went to work with him as a kid over on 47th. & Ashland and 14th & Lumber by Lawrences fishery, That place was just a shack back then, as well as a few other places. He was a switchman by day and drove a truck by night. Both for New York Central. We're from back a the yards. Seeing all the stuff from Chicago really brings back memories and makes playing this even more enjoyable for me. Thank you. I was playing OTTD and heard of Locomotion and just got it like a week ago. And seeing all the stuff from Chicago just makes it all the more enjoyable. I especially like how ya have the metra trains going backwards like for real. Thanks again for all your hardwork.
