Trains stopped at junction

Post by DoughnutSpanker »

Hey guys.

I'm doing a scenario with AutoMod.
I have this huge stresspoint at my steel mill and I have a problem.

pic attached.
Image
The Orange track branches off from the green/orange track and goes to its station (in pic). I don't have a problem with that though.

My coal and Iron Ore train freeze on the tracks.

FYI there is a train in 5 and 1 loading steel. 5 uses orange/green track to deliver, 1 uses purple.

Please help!

Yes, sorry I didn't make this clear enough.

On this map the coal and ore mines are close to each other. EX: {coal and ore} then somewhere else {coal and ore}

2 and 3 go to one set of coal/ore mines
4 and 5 (and 6) another set of coal/ore mines

So 3 doesn't need to get on 4,5,or 6.

Thanks for the reply.

if you look at what you built real close.

the if the red train pulls into platform 4, it can only exit on the green/orange track.

there is no crossover to get to the red.

Thanks, I fixed the track.

But the train is still sitting there.

Right going to be honest DS that is not an approach layout on roads 4 and 5 I'd use

I would cut your out road from 4/5 aka the orange marked one back
Use the former part of that to take your in road aka the green marked one to 4 and 5

Then send all traffic out on your new 5 putting in a burrowing junction aka a dive under to take trains from that to the other outward line. I've redone your screen shot as i would have laid out the junction
