All I say is: do combine it *somehwere* with one tile of a tracked station and put a vehicle on that. Have you never combined different station sets in one station?
In all truth, that's neither here nor there. Yes there's ways around that problem, but it still doesn't resolve the fact that the issue occurs simply because of a slight lack of focus by a player who did not pay attention to which tool they were using. My point being that even with using the bomb tool in NewObjects, you only destroy the one tile you intended to remove (or group of tiles, for those that are clustered together such as a 2x2 object) instead of removing that and a lot more you didn't intend to remove.

Use NewObjects... this patch has become useless because of that.
