Hello,

I agree that a passenger speedboat should b included. I've attachted a pic of a passenger catamaran from Croatia and here are the stats:

Capacity: 300 passengers
Max speed: 36 knots (cca 72 km/h)
Lenght: 42m, Width: 11m, Heigth: 4 m

I know the purchase price (for real) was cca 8,0 million US$ so you could calculate the OpenTTD price easily.

Also, there are some smaller ones with a more or less same design but with a smaller capacity (50-100 passengers).

I haven't decided what I'll include yet, but real life examples would be:

These could carry pretty much anything - the LACV 30 photo shows it loaded with standard containers :)

Is it possible to make them go even on land? However, wouldn't be that cool? :P

And with great canal possibilities (as well as great RV grfs), it's not really necessary. Realism yes, but only up to a certain point.

New new....the Small / Medium / Large Traders now have tanker graphics when refitted to Oil etc. Will show for any cargo with cargo class 'liquid' (except, for some reason, FIRS Milk....how strange).

Also some loading / unloading sprites for the Traders.

If no-one reports bugs this will become a release soon:

One known issue -the positioning of the sprites in the 'Ships' menu is wrong. The fix for this is also known.

Some comments to questions raised here ...

This would surely be possible. All that is needed is to change the Ship IDs. Should there be too many ships, more than 11, then some ships can share an ID; as demonstrated with the River Barge (CanShip).

While I was working on Canadian Ships, I looked at FISH. Here are some comments ...

. I do like the wave actions while ships are moving; it's a very nice touch.
. I do find the ships a bit too large; they do jump onto land if close to coasts and on rivers/canals, especially when turning. Would they look less impressive, if they were made smaller to fit the landscape better ? I don't think so.
. The set suggests to have the engine pool turned on, but why are almost all TTD 'original' ships then made not available and moved into oblivion ?

Otherwise, a fine piece of work ...

Yes. I have an idea for that.

I'm planning one or more rig supply vessels. These are fast utility boats.

When refitted to the Fish cargo, they can gain trawl gear etc. No idea when they'll be done though.

wouldn't it also be nice to add new dock grf too for the FISH? maybe multiple(if possible) like stations ?
