As you see from the answers, though, it's always helpful to also state in words, what you consider a bug - or what behaviour you're unsure about. An image is helpful in many situations (as also here) but it's not a replacement for all words.

You seem to have missed/ignored my post about the vehicle list.
Re: The 2ccSet: The Trains of the World in 2cc (Alpha available)
And you seem to have missed Roujin's comment on that

I think you missed my post again....
NewGRF as far as i know isn't used for websites and lists. My latest comment is referring to the train list on the 2CC website.

Chill down a bit. I was only refering to your earlier suggestion, as quoted below:
No hard feelings, but I think your reply could have been a bit nicer. Especialy the "again" part. When what the other time I missed a post of yours?
Because that was about a vehicle list (mainly the vehicle list) as well, I think it's a honest mistake to to mix those two up. Especially as there were no clues for me to be able to guess which of the two suggestions you were talking about in that reminder post.Leanden wrote:Add an extra caption that shows the name of the country the train is from. And then add a sort list option, to sort by Country. (I do know the flags, but it's annoying trying to check all the UK trains, etc.)

Re: The 2ccSet: The Trains of the World in 2cc (Alpha available)
The TGV Duplex motorcars do not carry any passengers, even though they are supposed to do so according to the vehicle list. The graphics suggest that one of the cars in each set lacks a lower floor (does it do so IRL? It looks very nice, anyway), but the capacity of this car is 75 just like all other cars. Might be nice if that could be less - say 40 or so.
Re: The 2ccSet: The Trains of the World in 2cc (Alpha available)
no the motorcars (or heads if you wish) do not carry anny passengers, and they are not supposted to either.
in what vehicle list does it say otherwise?

I use the 2cc set with OpenTTD 0.7.0
Just tried the "Big Boy" for the first time (I have no real use for it but wanted to see it in action for once). But there seems to be a problem - the running cost doesn't drop while it's waiting for cargo. While all the other engines benefit from reduced RC, the Big Boy's is the same as while running...

Might be by design - a steam engine requires quite some upkeep even when it's standing still

"Carriage Capacity" applies to carriages, not to motor units.MJS wrote:In the purchase window:
However, that means carriages still should not carry 75 passengers according to the depot list.

Re: The 2ccSet: The Trains of the World in 2cc (Alpha available)
Well, if i start a new game and buy a Hudson and a Big Boy - both of them heavy power steam locomotives with about equal nominal running costs - the hudson costs 600 pounds/year while standing still and the Big Boy costs the full 26000. Both of them cost 26000 while running.Might be by design - a steam engine requires quite some upkeep even when it's standing still
Re: The 2ccSet: The Trains of the World in 2cc (Alpha available)
Just found that the same problem applies to the Okz32.
Re: The 2ccSet: The Trains of the World in 2cc (Alpha available)
I guess that a beta 2.03 is out quite soon then

Re: The 2ccSet: The Trains of the World in 2cc (Alpha available)
Ah, I hadn't realized that - now I notice there's separate fields for Capacity and Carriage Capacity. Sorry!Purno wrote:"Carriage Capacity" applies to carriages, not to motor units.MJS wrote:In the purchase window:

The 75 passengers sounds more realistic; the duplex is a doubledecker after all. Wikipedia gives as its capacity 545 seats in 8 cars (excluding the two motor cars) = 68 seats per car. (Nekkid, the doubledecker non-MU car still has a typo: it should be called 'Passenger coach', not 'Passanger coach'.)

Re: The 2ccSet: The Trains of the World in 2cc (Alpha available)
Man, this set needs the ICE-1, 2 or 3 or all, or the ICE-TD
Plus running sounds would be nice!
PEOPLE! PLEASE SUBMIT RUNNING SOUNDS AND HORN/BELL SOUNDS PLEASE! It would be nice to hear what each train sounds like
Also could there possibly be a unlocked, extream version of the TVG so that it can go at over 570KMh (which is aorund its absolute max speed when its pushed for speed on a line that will allow it)

Re: The 2ccSet: The Trains of the World in 2cc (Alpha available)
It's already got the ICE-3
Edit: Oh and the TGV set that broke the speed record for a rail vehicle was heavily modified with larger wheelsets and the voltage increased from 25kV to 30kV. As well as only running with 3 coaches.

Re: The 2ccSet: The Trains of the World in 2cc (Alpha available)
i could, if ppl want, add a 5part articulated 570kmh TGV
