If the In Game Content downloads don't work, it's because the server is down. Read a few pages in a book and try again later.

OpenTTD supports 2cc by default, all you have to do is (example) load the "2cc set beta release bla bla" from the ingame downloader, activate the newgrf and voila, 2cc in open ttd (version 0.7.0 but im sure 0.6.0 had it and so on)

You can not be helped for the simple reason that "cannot get it work" is no error description. Look at my signature and read the text linked by the appropriate URL in its entirety.

Did you even read the website that CommanderZ pointed you to?

Let me quote something from the very front page of that website (emphasise mine)...

The 2cc Set will include trains from all around the world, drawn in dual company colors, so you, as a player, can select the colors of your trains.

That means the trainset feature dual company colors, just put the grf into the game and select your company colors.

If I remember correctly eGRVTS (a road vehicle set) and Aviators Aircraft av8 also feature 2CC.

download appropriate .GRF files, put them in My Documents/OpenTTD or in <Drive Letter>:/Openttd/data

Run the game, go to NewGRF settings, click add... then if necessary click rescan files.

If you want to apply newgrf to a running game, use the NewGRF window in game, found in the spanner drop down menu.
