Well the minerals have to be able to fall through the track.
Beardie27 wrote:but as you said its better, but is it me or does it look like the maglev track is floating?
I must admit I am happier with the monorail and than the maglev. But even so, the maglev mineral unloader now looks far better than it did before using the normal rail overlay. I would post a screenshot, but it looked so bad I'm not going to. You can try it for yourself if you haven't seen it.

I can see now, just checked, it is A LOT better, nice work

mart3p wrote:While personally I don't like playing with maglevs to haul coal, iron ore etc., what I dislike even more, is seeing the ISR mineral unloader graphics used on maglev or monorail tracks. The track overlay was designed to fit normal track, if used on maglev or monorail tracks it looks awful.
So, I have made a few modifications to the graphics and the mineral unloader now has compatibility with monorail or maglev tracks.
The attachment mineral unloader 3_railtypes.png is no longer available
If any users of the Canadian set or Narrow Gauge Rails, are worried that this will break compatibility with NG, fear not. ISR will detect one of these is being used and will continue to use normal rail overlays over the NG tracks. For future compatibility, I have also added a parameter, which allows the overlay selection to be set by the user.
Very good!
But... Will It work with narrow gauge tracks in monorail slot? It works very well now:

Sorry if my english is too poor, I want learn it, but it isn't too easy.

Yes it will, all possible settings for the NG rails grf have been taken into account. And as I said, if that fails, you can set the correct overlay using a parameter.

But which narrow gauge train set are you using that uses NG in the monorail slot?
Is a Spanish narrow gauge set that I'm trying to create. It will have trains like this or this. I'm not a well artist. I will post more in the Spanish set.

Could the containers have a couple more colors for variation? Because now there is not much red, but gray should be less too, because it doesn't contrast well with the ground.

Thanks for the links and good luck with your set. It will be good to see another train set available for narrow gauge.

There seem to be a lot of grey containers in the screenshot, because I set the company colour to grey. Of course, the company colour used, will give a higher proportion of that colour and grey seemed the most neutral.
Been testing the extra GRFs you sent mart3p and everything is fine, just a slight wonder though, the roads seem a bit weird on the snow, i can't really see them.

Edit: here i thought i would just throw this in aswell, for viewing.

Well the roads are from v0.7.1 not from the test grfs.
It would be possible to change this by using the half-snow sprite as the ground tile, as I did for the marshalling yard. The trouble is, if I do that, the roads won't match any of the other non-track tiles, so I would probably have to change them as well.
I will have a look at this, but it probably won't get done for v0.8.0.
Yhea i know the roads aren't from the test GRFs, just i came across the road "problem" whilst testing the test GRFs, just thought it would point it out to you. Thats all

mart3p wrote:transrapid would require special graphics and is not supported.
The "in-air" transrapid tracks in combination with the "on-ground" stations of ISR would be a bit weird anyways.
In some future version of the Transrapid track set, there will be some additional stations, but the only thing closest to a cargo station would be some kind of bare platforms. That is, I'm not going to draw industrial transrapid stations, as I think transrapid should only be used for passenger services. If someone else would draw some industrial transrapid stations, I'm happy to include them in the set though.
I think that a goods station would be appropriate as well. aside from mail, valuables, goods and passengers, other cargoes needn't be transported by maglev
Ok, translated the 0.8.0 strings
Some things sound seriously strange because i kind of invented these phrases myself (many different phrases in English are covered by only one in Estonian or don't have an Estonian word for them at all AFAIK).
