How to use the train packs br set from ami

hi everyone i've just bourght locomotion after playing ottd for a while but the manuals that it came with dnt work and i was wondering how to put in the train packs coz i have the br set from ami sorry if this question has been posted before but i searched and cudn't find it

the add on packs have .dat files for the new objects. you place the .dat files in the objdata folder (normally program files/atari/locomotion/objdata). usually you have to unzip or unrar the download package. you will have to exctract those files first. use winrar or somthing similar

In some cases like the sets on AMI, there is an EXE install file inside the zipped file. just double click the exe and follow the instructions unpacking to the objdata folder for the BR sets.

the US sets find the folders for you automaticaly. (Andel when you see this, update your installer )

once you get that far, you have to use the games scenario editor to add the trains to the game.


all of this has been said 100 times before. so, if you are still stuck, just look around the forum or try the search function.

As plastikman has said you will need to create a new scenario and select the vehicles to use.

If they do not appear in the scenario editor take a look in the readme file that come with all versions of the BRSet to make sure you have installed it properly.
