I added England, and I generated the landscape, but when I built a city, the population was zero. When I tried to expand it, the population remained zero.
Does anyone know what the problem may be?
Thanks.

This wasn't very helpfull
Well, back to work, lot's of it in the near future
I tried placing the town on land with plenty of room. I had set the size to 6.
The land height is pretty high (I set it to 30 in the mapgen). Could that be the problem?
EDIT: I figured it out. The town has to be 4 levels above sea level. This means I need to go back and fix the map, but at least I now know what the problem is.

The Island has been generated, but I need to work on the features (mountains, rivers, etc). The cities and industries need to be constructed (the ones you see in the picture were built by the computer).
Since today is Saturday, however, I will resume work on it.

Sorry for the double post, but I have to explain what has been going on with the project...
...which is, unfortunately, not much. See, the map I am working with doesn't have the Aresdale tramline or Culdee's Railway. I need to get a printout so that I can look at the map and work on the Island at the same time.
Sorry to keep you waiting, but I haven't forgotten about it.
