Hi all!
I am returning to OTTD after a few years and was looking to set up a new game. I only ever played with default industries before and wanted to try FIRS.
I would like to create a custom FIRS economy for the world I am building. I am a relative novice at coding. Not completely without experience, but I haven't done anything as complex as modifying a GRF.
I was wondering what I would need to do to implement a custom economy in FIRS.
Any help is appreciated!
Edit: Got around to looking at the code and things look fairly straightforward to understand. I am not sure how to go about using the Makefile to compile. I installed all the dependencies including adding NML, chameleon and markdown to python, then ran the makefile with MSYS.

Probably the easiest thing to do is go join the OpenTTD Discord server and talk with Andythenorth there on the OpenTTD channel.
