Stockholm buildings

Post by luxtram »

It's the release time.

The very first public beta release
stockholm-set.tar
(810.5 KiB) Downloaded 66 times

You can put it directly into newgrf folder, no need to untar it.

As it's a beta release, things may change quite a lot - I may rearrange builds etc so be warned. :D

This is how Stockholm buildings will work together with the Swedish Houses set.

I have to say, that top-left skyscraper looks really nice :D , I can see it being used in modern developments and small cities. I look forward to seeing what you can do luxtram.

If you were to add some basic wings onto the side of this building, it could make a neat small-city town hall :D

That legitimately looks like the town hall in my home city.

I see your point. In Europe, 100 miles is a long ways but a hundred years is just a fraction of history, or so they say. That stone building would look old (as in "vintage", old but in a notable and historically-revered way) to us in North America, but I can see how a town hall turned museum is a better equivalent for what you're making (Stockholm). Thank you for all this, these are amazing!

Very nice! I think that some buildings might pop out a bit more f you added lighter trims onto them, such as white-ish gutters and window trims, just to add diversity. Apart from that, excellent work here :D
