anyway to search for a text inside a thread?

Post by neob »

i may missed something in the search functions that allow me searching in a specific thread
but in any case the search function overlooks some text elements like links etc..

so is there away, some google smart play with domain or ?(

EDIT: NM found myself.
with google the forum as domain and the thread title as phrase.

but a better solution always welcome :D

Just use the "Search For" box at the bottom left of the topic viewing page, underneath the "Who is online" bar and suchlike.

No, but if it is your file, you can go to UCP -> Manage Attachments to see your attachments. There will also be a link to the post.

You can also ask me, and I could look it up, if it is urgent.

I too have never noticed that well-hidden box there.. But anyway, I use Ctrl+F to search for things on a single page. If it's a whole thread with several pages it could turn problematic though..
