a little background on CN newfoundland:

The Newfoundland Railway was a railway which operated on the island of Newfoundland from 1898 to 1988. With a total track length of 906 miles (1,458 km), it was the longest 3 ft 6 in (1,067 mm) narrow gauge railway system in North America.

The railway was initially called the Newfoundland Government Railway but was soon shortened to the Newfoundland Railway in 1926. It would remain the property of the colonial government until Confederation on April 1, 1949 when it was transferred to the federal government's Canadian National Railway. in 1988 the line was completely abandoned.

for this map what if traffic stayed at good levels and Cn stanadardized the line?

a little background on the windsor toronto map, gonna be a very busy area on the map. auto parts plant in detroit, autoplant by toronto is the oakville ford auto plant, coal and ore does come the states by cn, so i made it come from new york state:

Hamilton: sixty percent of Canada's steel being produced in Hamilton by Stelco and Dofasco, the city has become known as the Steel Capital of Canada.[43] After nearly declaring bankruptcy, Stelco returned to profitability in 2004[44] and on August 26, 2007 United States Steel Corporation acquired Stelco for $38.50 (Canadian) in cash per share, owning more than 76 percent of Stelco's outstanding shares.[45] Dofasco, in 1999, was the most profitable steel producer in North America and in 2000, the most profitable in Canada. It currently has approximately 7,300 employees at its Hamilton plant and produces over four million tons of steel annually, representing about 30% of Canada's flat rolled sheet steel shipments. Dofasco is one of North America's most profitable steel companies, and Dofasco was named to the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index in 2006 for the seventh year in a row. Dofasco produces steel products for the automotive, construction, energy, manufacturing, pipe and tube, appliance, packaging and steel distribution industries.[46] Dofasco is currently a stand alone subsidiary of Arcelor Mittal, the world's largest steel producer. Previously ordered by the U.S. Department of Justice to divest itself of the Canadian company, Arcelor Mittal has now been allowed to retain Dofasco provided it sells several of its American assets instead.[47]

on the passenger mod, you have:

go trains http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GO_Transit that operated along the golden horseshoe (The Golden Horseshoe is a densely populated and industrialized region (or urban agglomeration) centred around the western end of Lake Ontario in Southern Ontario, Canada)

in hamilton:

Amtrak invites you to go international onboard the Maple Leaf, so amtrak is used on this map as well.

We'll take you from New York City to Canada's equally urbane metropolis, Toronto. Along the way, you'll travel through the beautiful Hudson River Valley, New York's wine country, the incredible gorges of the Finger Lakes region, nearby the dramatic spectacle of Niagara Falls.

amtrak in hamilton:

Image

amtrak in toronto by go yard, 3 minutes north of the QEW highway in southern toronto by the lake shore. get off at islington ave exit and go 4 minutes north and you go over an bridge that goes right over go and via train yards:

thank you, the process is kinda long in how to completely do it.

take a snap shot of the area in earth google, if you try to run it through the mepgen and bring it into the game the way it is you will just have a complete mess bumpy mess and doesn't look like you were trying to make. next i bring it into a program called "Scracc" where i get the grey scale color for the lowest elevation i want on the land and grey scale color i want for the water. then i bring it into photo shop, and the land and water area i fill in the appropriate color i choose earlier. then depending on the map i start making the mountains/hills. if the mountains are very large and complex i will draw them by hand in scracc doing it layer by layer per grey scale color for elevation. if they are simple fairly small hills/mountains i will use dodge function in photo shop. that makes nice small rough mountans. now depending on your map you can use an program called "Landscape Designer" an sc4 program to lower/raise elevation to get the snow level the way you want it. if you want snow on top of your mountains, but you select the high snow level and your lower elevations are still getting covered in snow, you can use tis program to lower the elevation and this will change it where your snow level is pushed up to the top of your mountains. certain trees automatically can be put on certain elevations in editor, but raise and lower the elevation you can use the lay all tree function without having to put one tree at time down, saves you time.

also the program allows your to smooth or rough your whole map, very handy function especially for water edges and mountains.

the rest has to be done in the scenario editor. i try to stay close to what i see on the images and maps, sometime loco doesn't allow it though. :D

I'm missing a file called SIGUSGO1.dat, which is a shame because I really like playing your maps!

I'm guessing that it's a GO Transit train/carriage, but I have the North American Mega Pack so I'm not sure where to find the file...
Can you please point me in the direction of the file as I've searched the forums here but can't find it.
