New Mexico Northern Map (Filling Requests)

Post by bluebeetle »

A few people has asked me to release an new mexico northern map. now this isn't the exact map, because I accidently deleted it a whole back when reinstalling the game. so this map is loosely based on the old one, still an red sands, coal town, royal gorge and oil junction areas and towns.

the landscape version does not have the red sand on the red sand valley, because not everyone likes it, so giving everyone a choice on that. the moded version does have red sand. in the moded version moving oil, ore and coal is not that difficult, but grain and wood are at the bottom of the royal gorge and one hell of an climb out. going through the mountains and making tunnels is not an option, not enough room for the long climb you have to do. building through the gorge and doing an gradual climb works much better. there are A LOT to do one this map, and it is up to you what you want to do. pretty much an open sand box map. the moded versions's engines are ATSF and BNSF, with a dash of mexican (which we never see used that much) and area short lines engines.

the landscape needs the provo map installed, because i used weeds and few other things like the u.s. buildings.

the moded version: needs provo, bn and up dk packs, the mega pack, and the auto, and lumber mod (in mega pack) from plastic.

Looks Great, Too bad I can't play it because I downloaded a 21st Century Pack and it had a custom Trackst  ...So no scenery from plastik until I get bored with the set.

make a second ObjData and rename them as you want to play with different sets

all you need to do is rename your current one to ObjDta_21st_Century or similar, make a new folder and name it ObjData and use the plastikman map tool found on AMI and use the option C, then install the packs as normal.
(is this understandable)
