For little boys, three things reign as supreme attention-keepers: tanks, heavy construction equipment, and trains, we all know why where here.
"Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music."

Re: (WIP) German esqe senario
learn from my (and others) mistakes.. build it with no mods at all..
then when you map is all fine and done.. make a copy then add your mods.
landscape is coming along nice.
IMHO. I think people might have issues with so many track mods in one map from so many sources. you would have to replace all the roads also..
Zimmlock was going to do the same thing on his and decided not to mix and match set.
the use of the mini scenery pack should be fine. just make sure you are on the latest version I updated several of the building in the set last week. they are not retroactive changes, the one in the Provo map are still bugged even when new buildings are put in the pack.
there will eventually be a larger scenery pack to replace that one. They "should be" compatible in the end.
Or... you could use the German station pack. that might be a little more "fitting".

Re: (WIP) German esqe senario
thanks, but since I worked it out to use both at a time I don't have the just platform without station roof part I decided to use it, I will remove as many mods as I can for a clean release and make a mod release

I feel that posts separated by a few weeks with some new info are not bad because they bump it, not just let it linger at the bottom of the page where nobody will notice, thanks for the encouragement.
BTW I have found a computer shop that can recover it, hopefully next week, then just some finetunning

Re: (WIP) German esqe senario
EPIC FAIL!
No seriously...
Here is your list if mods needed....
--- Sounds ---
SND103EN : --- Not installed!!! ---
SNDACLEN : --- Not installed!!! ---
SNDTGVHO : --- Not installed!!! ---
SNDUSAIR : SNDUSAIR.dat
--- Cargo Types ---
WDCHPS : --- Not installed!!! ---
--- Bridges ---
BRDGEART : BRDGEART.dat
looks like one of My TGVs or My Acela, My 103's, Enhanced Paper Cycle, Earth Slopes.
Edit:
umm.. you might want to turn off "allow new industries to start".. or unselect the ones you are not using. in the first 6 months, the AI built about 30 new industries all over. Most of them clustered together in the fields..... [unless that was intended....]

Re: (REL) German esqe senario
Why don't people read the sticky about posting new scenarios?
More constructively, in all the scenarios I have produced I've found it tricky to get the industries in balance. If you don't then you will have this problem of numberous new industries popping up at the start of the game, if you leave "allow new industries to start" turned on. Its important to take account of this when you create a scenario, and its also important to run the scenario after you have finished compiling it to make sure that this won't happen, at least to any great extent. The industries often pop up in the worst places for players, so unless you want some random factor, think about this.

Re: (REL) German esqe s"C"enario
You might have waited for for an answer before publishing my files. In addition, you have files from 2 other authors in there...
You really need to have a clean locomotion objdata before creating any new scenario.... all kinds of junk "sticks to the scenarios".
