No newgrfw.cfg file
There's no newgrfw.cfg file in my Transport Tycoon folder. Why is this missing and where can I get it?

Re: No newgrfw.cfg file
Open Notepad, go to File->Save As..., navigate to your TTD directory, type "newgrfw.cfg" as the filename (including the quotes), click Save.

Including quotes? You can't do that when you're naming a file
It was also saying that there was no ttdbasew.grf or something like that.

Ofcourse you can do that. Have you really tried it? What error message did you get?trainmaster611 wrote:Including quotes? You can't do that when you're naming a file
If you're using a nightly, get it here: http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=31471trainmaster611 wrote:It was also saying that there was no ttdbasew.grf or something like that.
Re: No newgrfw.cfg file
Surrounding the filename with quotes just tells Windows to not append the default extension. If you leave them out, it'll probably save the file as newgrfw.cfg.txt, which won't work.trainmaster611 wrote:Including quotes? You can't do that when you're naming a file

Re: No newgrfw.cfg file
You never use quotes when you're doing that.
If you want to change the file extension, you go to the little dropdown bar where it says .txt and click 'All Files' and when you're naming the file, add .cfg to the end.
I was just checking though because I thought it would actually need the quotes present to work (and yes I've tried quotes before).
Thanks guys
