There's no newgrfw.cfg file in my Transport Tycoon folder. Why is this missing and where can I get it? :?

Open Notepad, go to File->Save As..., navigate to your TTD directory, type "newgrfw.cfg" as the filename (including the quotes), click Save.

Including quotes? You can't do that when you're naming a file :?

It was also saying that there was no ttdbasew.grf or something like that.

Ofcourse you can do that. Have you really tried it? What error message did you get?

If you're using a nightly, get it here: http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=31471

Surrounding the filename with quotes just tells Windows to not append the default extension. If you leave them out, it'll probably save the file as newgrfw.cfg.txt, which won't work.

You never use quotes when you're doing that.

If you want to change the file extension, you go to the little dropdown bar where it says .txt and click 'All Files' and when you're naming the file, add .cfg to the end.

I was just checking though because I thought it would actually need the quotes present to work (and yes I've tried quotes before).

Thanks guys :P
