imo it doesn't last for very long

"Design Year: 1941
Obsolete Year: 1957"

i think it could be longer i like to have just 1 sort of train doing things in my game at a time but its not worth it with this train becuase it goes to soon

I gave it the actual running dates instead of the production dates. so, in a sence, it is extended already, It is part of the US set, in the set there will be a loco to replace it before it expires. I originallly had it set to only work with the passenger coaches that i made to go with it. this was one of the last steam engines to be built and to be replaced by diesel in the US. by 1957 almost everything was being pulled by E-Uinits, F3's and F7's

you can always use locowrapper to improve the reliability and remove the obsoletion date. it is very easy to use and nice tool. or, as you said just dont use it :P the reliability in this game is so pathetic that by the time it needs replacing, there is probably somthing better anyways. or should be....

this was a release as a proof of conncept that running gear can work in LoMo.

I have had a few people ask me for coaches for this loco. I had this pullman standard in daylight sitting in my objdata folder. it is beta and unsupported, same dates as the engine, 90 mph, seats 44 in luxury. enjoy

I was wondering why you didn't make a passenger car with it in the first place but I din't want to bug you.

It's cool anyway! 8)

Actually, I have a full daylight set. the budd made pullman standard with the articulated cars. i was holding off on releasing that untill i had some more stuff. perhaps the diesel replacement for the 4449.

this was mostly a proof of concept that you can animate rods more then anything.
