All downloaded. I'll take a look at the new version shortly. Thanks for the pic. Give me a day or so to get back to you.AndersI wrote:BTW, I have added the confirmation questions to hinder you from losing your work, see first post.wallyweb wrote:Do you have a graphic of your grid that I can use as a guide?

Re: SpriteAligner - Tool for aligning sprites directly in NFO
(First post updated with version 1.0.7)
I've updated SpriteAligner to use any BMP as a background template. Three templates - SG, NG and RV, drawn by wallyweb - are included in the download (see first post).
The template BMP:s should be 256x256 and should be placed in the same folder as SpriteAligner.
To be honest, I doubt the correctness of the RV template, but I haven't done any RV to check with, can anyone else prove or disprove?

I can either load the template (bmp) or the pcx files.

I have no problem here.Ammler wrote:I can either load the template (bmp) or the pcx files.
Now that I can see it in use, I agree. It seems to me that the \ and / lines should be moved down a bit. I'll wait for some suggestions before redrawing them. What about the NG \ and / lines? Any comments there?AndersI wrote:To be honest, I doubt the correctness of the RV template, but I haven't done any RV to check with, can anyone else prove or disprove?

What pcx files?Ammler wrote:I can either load the template (bmp) or the pcx files.
Are you using linux/wine? What is the 'current directory' when you run the program? The code was a quick hack, and depends on the 'current directory' being the one where you installed the template images.
Re: SpriteAligner - Tool for aligning sprites directly in NFO
A day and a half or so with no comments about the road vehicle template, so I've gone ahead and redrawn it.
What I did:
I redrew the \ and / grids and realigned them based on a verified good (for me) vehicle positioning.
The green and white dashed lines align with the white center line/grass edge of the basic TTDX road.
The gray center line should align with the center of the vehicle.
The octagon was recoloured to red so as to differentiate it from the green dashes.
The bmp format is in the attached zip. I have added an A to the name so that you can install it alongside the original for comparing the alignments. Please test it and post your comments so that I can make any necessary changes.

Re: SpriteAligner - Tool for aligning sprites directly in NFO
@Ammler, I believe I have fixed the problem you are describing. Please try version 1.0.8, available in first post.
I've also fiddled a bit with the SG template, and added a new version to the download.
