Re: ..,,;;:: Spain set ::;;,,.. 80% taster 1.24 available
And here is the updated XLS file for the train data:
Here you are everything that can be found about the trains. The remaining information, marked in yellow or light blue is either impossible to retrieve (as the MUs T.E.) or not listed anywhere (as some information for older vehicles)
Also, the top speed for the TRAVCA is corrected (260, not 160)
I still have to update the TALGO scheme, is there anything else needed?

Are you sure the formulas to calculate purchase and running cost factors are alright?
Those costs are calculated by
Factor[0-255]*BaseValue
Those can be multiplied (or divided by) 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64 and 128 in the Base Cost settings.
At least, if GRF Maker works just like NFO does. Those BaseValues are used in the formulas in the Excel file you got from me.
Your formulas look a bit weird at first sight, though I didn't take a very deep look into them.

actually, that last XLS I posted doesn't include yet the formulas you provided. I didn't even check if there were any... so I don't know where did those come from, if there are any present.

Thanks, got it. Oh, and it sounds like just maybe, we might have a public release soon! That being the case, we should finish the public distro site.
One thing we usually have in these sites, is a list of all the trains, with some sort of remarks about each one. I know absolutely nothing about any of the trains; Sanchimaru, you know them best. Can you provide a sentence or two about each one? You can see the US set distro site for an example of what I'm looking for.
We also should start collecting in-game screenies of the trains in action.

Hi everybody,
May I suggest some revision on some spanish trains performance? I've found some minor (very little) differences between (supposed) real locomotive performance and the Excel file posted by Sanchimaru, mainly in two trains speed and power: 446/447 'Dodotis' is suposed to run at a max speed of 120kph (this might be an improvement in the 447 evolution, I dunno), and power for 446 and 464 might be adjusted according to the info that I've found (take a look at the links below). Well, for details I've found some info that coud be useful here:
http://www.caf.net/ingles/productos/pro ... &sec=prest (for 446/447)
http://www.caf.net/ingles/productos/pro ... &sec=prest (for Civia)
Great job guys... keep doin!
And greetings from Spain!

Re:
Are there 2 different types of town names, or just windows and dos (why?). Well, could you help me?
Greets
Ammler
Town Names:

Still work in progress: OpenGFX or/and OpenSFX - Please help!
Re: ..,,;;:: Spain set ::;;,,.. 90% taster 1.24 available
There is only one list of town names, but because of the way TTD and the Patch work, DOS and Windows use different GRF files. Both are included in the ZIP file available for download, but you'll only want to use the one appropriate for the version of TTD that you are using.

Well, only the last touch of the coding was left to be done... mainly the adjustment of prices. Can you take on it to make the final work on it?
Tell me if you need me to change or check anything. Realize however that the technical data we have is pretty much what you already had, so if there is any data missing, we'll need to just make it out based in gameplay blaancing.

Re: ..,,;;:: Spain set ::;;,,.. 90% taster 1.24 available
It's dead only when we don't have a coder.
Everything else is OK, and you see the thread jumps back to life as soon as anyone shows interest.

Thanks! don't hesitate to ask for anything you might need
Re: ..,,;;:: Spain set ::;;,,.. 90% taster 1.24 available
How's ECS compatibility in the set - in the taster, and in the final version? I notice some new cargoes are there (using OTTD), but a range of cargoes is also missing, at least in 1938 - notably sand, food, glass and tourists. Also I get the nicer passenger coaches only in the electrical depots, but that might be intentional. Nice set, by the way, especially conceptually.
Re: ..,,;;:: Spain set ::;;,,.. 90% taster 1.24 available
Can someone put EUROMED please?! It's the same locomotive than AVE S-100 but it is for electric rails.

I miss some important locos

Re: ..,,;;:: Spain set ::;;,,.. 90% taster 1.24 available
Right now, the set seems to be suspended as the coder is not available.

High speed tracks GRF (speedrails.grf) replaces the monorail tracks, but high speed trains of this set runs over maglev tracks (in OTTD). I tried to modify the values of the speedrails.grf, but it was a disaster:

I solve the lack of Euromed using TGV Atlantique of French's set with white and blue colours. It's seems awesome!
And there is a BIG BUG that I hate so much: EMU 450 (buque) train. I love this train and I want to use it, but see the shot:

I have fixed the problem with high speed rails (speedrails.grf), Spain set (spainsetw.grf) and OpenTTD. I have modified the high speed rails GRF, and it replaces the maglev graphics. It doesn't replace bridge graphics and some OTTD graphics of menu bars.

Does speedrails only work with OTTD?
