Here's the next for you to test for me and report any problems.

This Aus_Lineside_Objects has creeks and drains. Based on the Fake Bridges. I do not know who made the Fake Bridges as no readme files with the download, just the licence. Who ever that person/s is thank you kindly.

Do you think the creeks and drains need a T section? I don't know how to do a downhill creek flow .. might learn how one of these days.

Also has a Water Tank in this release.

Wowza!! Those creeks and culverts look fabulous, just what this game needed! I've actually dreamed of those in my sleep before!

One thing I just noticed that I don't like, the animated water in the water tanks. Just looks wrong, would be better if it was just still water.

animated water in the water tanks
When I first did the square tanks I didn't realise they would animate when I first done the water .. see what I can do about it later.

I know the larger square tanks did produce waves when some wind was blowing as I lived next to one for 6 years and water would plash out over the top of the tanks.

Update:

Auz_Lineside_Objects now on BaNaNas.

I will continue adding to this project as there are still some items I like to add to it.

By releasing it now on Banana I hoping others from other Australian States will do some objects from their States and send me to add to the next release.

I noticed in the forums there are many projects of objects not finished or didn't get off the ground. If these are your projects happy to add to this set if you like.

Hope you enjoy what ben done to date.

I must be going crazy .. I did up some junctions for the creek and storm water drains for the Auz_Lineside_Objects and was my intentions to upload that version to Bananas, but some how I uploaded the previous version without the junctions.

I will not update it on Bananas for now as still got other buildings I want to add, but will put the correct version here for those who liked the Culverts, Creeks and Storm Water Drains.

Hi been experimenting to do longer station buildings and here the results.

Based on a station called Toronto near Newcastle.

Done 2 versions .. 1 with and 1 without awnings.

Thanks kamnet for complement. The tips that 0thers have given me with shading kinda helped with making my buildings look a bit better.

Doing all the different shades of colours like you did in Gin Gin and what I seen in other peoples work, that to complicated for me, especially when some colours shading so close.

The way that Andythenorth showed me with the signal box I think is great for buildings made with fibro sheeting and simular boarding, and by using his idea but doing it side ways instead of up and down, seems suitable for buildings made with weatherboards.

I will do a few more longer station buildings of the yellowish timber look and then I'll try doing some brick ones. Doing brick shading is easier for me as I use buildings from the FIRS, CHIPS and ISR/DWE and clone the brick colourings to mine.

The freight buildings I have in the Australian Industry Set, I bring them over to the Objects set as well for those who use other industry sets.

Also will change the cost of making creeks and storm drains .. these should be very cheap to make as normally they would already be on a map and all a person would do would spend money on the culverts.

If I knew this Object project was going to be so enjoyable to make, I would have started it in a new forum. When I started it, my intentions was just do some Signal Boxes and Staff Huts.

This version has a few longer Stations based on Ivanhoe and Toronto with and without awnings. I did both as I not sure what I like best. Ivanhoe has a Staff Hut but have not connected it to the Wired yet.

Also in this version are 2 Goods Sheds .. The larger one has Christmas Lights in the Purchases Icon at the moment .. will fix at a later date.

Also for those who like using McZapkies Wired .. I put some wire crossing over the creeks and drains near the culverts. It just meant to look nice for those who use the Wired as objects .. and those who use the Wired to control Signals and trains in advance it acts as a block which I think will be handy.

I've reduce the cost of building the creeks and drains to minimum also the rail signs also cheaper.

Enjoy and let me know of any hiccups found.

Your the first to my knowledge that had that problem.

Your sav game has a lot of files I don't have yet. I'll find them and see what happens this end.

Might be a while before I can fix.

Thanks for reporting.

Make sure you're running an unpatched version of OpenTTD, and try to reproduce the issue with only this NewGRF loaded.

piratescooby .. Great set , a small problem keeps crashing .
Several of your Newgrf files, I have the same version yet your save game file not finding.

They also some files your using I been unable to find.

Has any one else had any problems with the Auz_Lineside_Objects?
Sound effects causing the crash , when no sound effects is selected runs ok .
Might be good idea if I disable the sound effects in next issue .. the sounds are only in the Signal Boxes .. it sounds of levers being pulled over.

I cannot reproduce this error with the the latest version of the NewGRF. The save game gives an error, "Broken savegame - referencing invalid town".

So I am going to guess that there is not a bug with the NewGRF, rather I believe that this savegame itself is corrupted.

Thank You kamnet for checking it for me .. he mentioned later if sound turned off has no problems.

But I think your right about problem in the saved game.

Not sure if leave the sound effects in Signal Boxes. I only put it there see if I can do the programming to make it work.

Testing the Objects I found a fault with the train sets I did. The 48 and 49 class when double head with them, vehicles overlap one of the engines. So I fixing that just now.

I know the problem is where have the second unit as a Tender and when add second unit it flips it automatically. So I am disabling this.

I had sound effects enabled, and built every version of every signal box in every direction. Lots of sounds, but no crashes. I'm reasonably sure it's not a NewGRF error this time.
