Happens on the main screen too, the horizontal left facing sprite is hugely out of place. According to GRF maker the X&Y rel are OK - so does anyone have a clue what might be going on?

1.0.4 RC1

Thanks

valid doesn't mean looking good. You might indeed want to change the sprite positions (xrel + yrel).

According to GRFmaker that sprite is X -8, Y -7 which looks OK to my eye?

Then the question is whether grfmaker actually encodes it as such. What does the de-compiled grf using grfcodec give you?

Also what does the vehicle details window as well as a completely different version of OpenTTD give you?

make sure the graphics for the sprites arent too close together or grf maker wont be able to properly encode the x/y postitions. use the sprite alignment tool when selecting sprites to make sure that its not too far off a tile
