How do you create city names?

Sure I know you can rename cities in the game? Ive noticed that there are A LOT of European country lists, but not that many American ones.

Also be sure to have a look at the newgrf wiki under http://wiki.ttdpatch.net/tiki-index.php ... phicsSpecs . Especially ActionF is what you'll need. It looks more complicated initially as it really is, especially if it is 'only' town names.

I have tryed to use a GRFMaker for make new list of cities for Brazilian cities, but when i finish, the option to select brazilian not appears on the list.
Somebody now how this happens?

You've made a working grf from it? Then you register at bananas.openttd.org (upper right of the screen, chose "manager") and then you get the choice to upload your newgrf.

my idea... if you have a town name generator of sorts (like the SC4 Landscape Designer Region Name Database) you may actually take the names and put them into one giant newGRF with around 20000+ names of real American names. No offense but there are solutions everywhere you look.

there are lots of city name patches/sets around so go get em.
