Make sure you aren't loading anything which replaces road graphics afterwards, like a Roadset (example would be UK Roadset), or a landscape replacement (something like OpenGFX for example).
Otherwise as I understand it, setting parameter 3 to a value of 2 should do the trick.

Re: Zimmlocks latest creation
I'm using OpenTTD 0.6.3 (it worked fine in 0.5.x) and I'm not using any GRFs like that. I tried setting param #3 to 1 (regular bridges, TTRS roads) and it stayed the same. I'm wondering if this is OTTD acting up. Thanks for your help though. I didn't know you couldn't do that.
Wait a minute, I was. I was using TTO Conversion. Silleh me. Thanks much, Lakie.

Re: Zimmlocks latest creation
I think OpenTTD is trying to say it's found an error in the GRF. Too bad it isn't telling where exactly in the GRF it thinks the error is.
Does it show this error even if you remove all parameters?

Re: Zimmlocks latest creation
No, with default parameters there aren't error (0 0 0 0), the error only appears when I put the second parameter 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5... I hate 4th era buildings hehe...Csaboka wrote:Does it show this error even if you remove all parameters?

I'll try to reproduce this when I have some time. My first guess is that I did something in the code that is OK for TTDPatch, but doesn't pass some extra check OTTD is doing.

I have the same problem, you only get it when setting parameter two from my experimentsCsaboka wrote:I think OpenTTD is trying to say it's found an error in the GRF. Too bad it isn't telling where exactly in the GRF it thinks the error is.
Does it show this error even if you remove all parameters?
Has anyone found a solution yet?
Re: Zimmlocks latest creation
Hello
I'm using ttrs v3.02a and I found that parameter 1 (disables default TTD houses) do not work in arctic and tropic climates.
When I using grf with variable snow line (for example Canadian Stations Set) default TTD snowy houses looking a bit wired.
So I modify grf file to solve this issue. Can I post modified grf here?
P.S. Sorry for my English.

I believe so:
TTRS-v3 has been made for the Transport Tycoon fans you are free to use it at your disposal as long as you give the right credits, that includes modifications and enhangements to individual drawings and code slices.

Re: Zimmlocks latest creation
There's a glitch with one church in TTRS. It uses the water shore cycle so that the roof has periodic changes in the colour...

That's not a TTRS church. These are the four TTRS churches:

As you can see, none of those look like the church image you posted.

Re: Zimmlocks latest creation
Hm... I just joined the server to look at the game and looked around and checked the newgrf list. Then the game must have had TTRS added after game creation. Sorry for the wrong report. DJN might just be right. I'll look into it.Csaboka wrote:That's not a TTRS church. These are the four TTRS churches:

Re: Zimmlocks latest creation
how can i install this on OpenTTD??

Re: Zimmlocks latest creation
Download it, put it in your 'data' directory, open openttd, open the newgrf menu, click 'add newgrf', (or something like that) click apply changes and start a new game.
Re: Zimmlocks latest creation
Get the newgrf, then follow the instruction in either the OTTD readme, TTRS readme or OpenTTD wiki. The latter has the best chance of helping you.

Re: Zimmlocks latest creation
Hello!
It would be nice if there was a parameter to reduce the number of passengers generated.
When playing with a cargo-destinations patch, the passengers stay in the game longer, so there's suddenly too many of them to handle. Even without such patch OTTD can easily put thousands of passengers on a small airport in 1930 with no way of transporting them and with such patch it's even worse. So I'd like to suggest a new parameter for the grf to divide the amount of passengers -- and mail as well -- generated by that number. It would add a little challenge for those who want it and make it bearable with cargo-destinations (it would be actually easier there, because with cargo destinations one easily looses money if the passengers travel part way and then give up).
Thanks.
