Ain't there some kind of tool that replaces all locs (possibly of some specific type) under nn% reliability with new ones (also possibly of some other specific type)? That would make our lives much easier with 300 trains on the map :|

There is a tool by the obvious name of locotool, which allows you to edit the stats of a vehicle. For instructions on how to use it, look here. You need to change the reliability to 0, this will set it to not break down. Capt. Obvious!

Judging by your monthly income, it looks like an overflow error. CS could have used a double word (which is around $4b) to store the value. Anything over that may be overflowing to a negative value.

Meh, that's cheating. They are supposed to break down some time, and you are supposed to buy (read: pay for) new locs once they get too old

Really, Chris had to include some way to lower your monies once you've finished construction

But seriously, you mentioned locotool only 'for the record', right? :))

Well. You dont have to set it to zero.. You can double the number (Ex. if 80 change to 160). to extend out the duribility or double the reliability of a vehicle.

you could set them to no breakdowns and increase the running costs... a "more rigorous maintenence schudule" then?

Hmm... I think I could live with that.

Anyway, I think I'll try to make a new Connection Challenge featuring islands and mountains. I'd like to see you peoples connect everyting with everything else if half the stuff is at sea and the other half on the snowy mountain tops. :D
