National Geographic Break it Down: Diesel Locomotive.

I just got to watch a show i tivo'd a few weeks ago..

it is sort of sad, a pair of KCS SD40-2 's head to the scrap yard and get chopped to bits and melted down...

this a documentary of the entire process.. rather interesting, yet sad, as these 50 year old beasts still look new...

if you happen to catch a re-run of it, it is a good watch for North American railfans...
