Other than coding industries (for ECS), making a vehicle set compatible with ECS is more than simple, just add a cargo translation table:AndersI wrote: The ECS specs may be fine for the coding veterans, but to me it's just a big fat ???

Discussions are about George´s ECS implementation, not about the ECS specs. The ECS spec is stable "since years".And the discussions are still running about it - is it really a sitting target?

You don´t need to. I.e., all bulk cargo could be done by using a recolour CB in-game. So for cargoes like coal, grain, iron ore, potash, sand, fertiliser, oil seeds, sulphur, cement and lime only one graphical representation would be needed. Feel free to contact me in case you´re interested in learning how to do it.Additionally, I have enough work with the original cargo, who needs to draw 16 variations of each wagon (not really, but you get my point).
Regarding your graphics, these look really good. I like it. Will there be special iron ore waggons for the LKAB?
That "ECS extension" .grf doesn´t contain any new graphics. It just modifies cargo slots and bits, its nothing more than a quick hack. Real graphics are only available in DBXL v0.9, which I´m currently working on.Toni Babelony wrote:Though the ECS adittion to M. Blunck's DB XL Set have no cargo replacement graphics.
