could be a number of things
did you get a .DAT file from loco VC?
did you put the .DAT file in locomotion\objdata\
did you select your new vehicle when creating/editing a scenario?

OK, I know what I made wrong but now I have another problem I have the wagon in Locomotion but it is very "colourful". It has other colours and when I have it in a scenario it goes with a background (!). I think it has something in common with the palette. Where I can get the palette or how I can make it?
or take it here

Well, its ingame at least
Try these steps from beginning to end:
- Download MSTS shape (*.s) from the Internet (and ask permission from the author if you are going to release it)
- Load the shape in Vehicle Creator : MSTS2Locomotion and see if the proportions are allright. Otherwise change it with SFM (Shape File Manager), by first uncompressing the *.s shape and after that set the X (height) Y (width) and Z (length) axes. The Z has to be around 0.9 or 0.8 I think.
- Then convert your vehicle using Vehicle Creator.
- Download Wally from somewhere, and download the lomoveh.pal palette.
- Open Wally, go to File -> Batch Conversion. In the new window that appears select the source (where you converted your 136 *.bmp sprites to) and destination directory. They can be the same. After that, go to "Wally Settings" in the Batch conversion window. Check the "Overwrite existing files" box, and click by "Destination" -> "Use this palette" and select the lomoveh.pal using the "..." box.
- Start Batching. Make sure your input is *.bmp and your output *.png.
- Enter all values as the max speed etc. in Vehicle Creator. Make sure you go to "Graphics" and then click the box with the "..." in it a little to the right of the "bogie posititon". Double click a horizontal shape.
- Make your XML and convert it to a DAT using locotool.
- Load it into Locomotion.
- Show us the result.

-0.2 is just the position i found out to look good for a couple of the BRS trains, i would experiment with it as -0.2 isnt always the perfect one.LocArny wrote:When you convert the vehicle, set the Y-offset to -2. That will do I think.
Thanks to the tip, MajorDuck
And its -0.2 not -2.0
