[RELEASE] Midland England

Post by G-TANK-G »

Here it is, the Midland England. I've made it so it has the mid-lands, southeast, and south regions. it has quite a few grin farms and some industries are in the towns itself.

This is just a basic scenario. deliver 1,000,000 passengers. there's no A.I. it uses the Great Britan Region. it also as vineyards and winerys.
I'll probably make a BR set version, if you want, in the meantime have fun with this one. :D

My attempt went badly.

I'll edit out the words on that and see if I can use it.

Edit:

I can't.

Have you got any similar maps without words on them?

 High mountains in form of a townname :)

I could not find anything as well (looked for a few terms). Maybe (but that is really maybe) I am going to make it from scratch. That costs so much work...

I will look on Google Earth, and post the result.

Edit: Looked at Google Earth, this was result. Not very good, but I cannot find better. The text at the bottom is no problem, you can get that away easily.

Oke, I'll see when I finished landscape.

First attempt went badly (with Google pic). It was too (and I really mean too) hilly, steep etc.

Will try another time with another pic (yours).

Oke, second attempt (after having some failures with paint etc):

Please say honestly what you think.

Do you recognize this as the shapes of England? (without rivers, and land is too flat etc).

Please say ;)

Are this shapes correct? Look only to the shape, not to rest of landscape.

well... the south, south-east and east shores look good... dont know about the rest.... want more maps?

and what do you mean with your paint issues? is it the colour or what? :?

or give me the map.... and i good try and find the patience to do the landscape and the rest...

and i can recognize the shapes, 'cause i've found where i live, and once lived (that's the main reason for the request, i like going down "memory lane") ;)

I meant that I first tried to mix some colours in paint etc, but oke, nothing to worry about.

If you want to do everything, oke, here you are ;):

well... your scenario landscape look too much to do... so i tried to do a landscape for myself, and well... it looks good... but the landscape is high, but i dont mind, 'cause it makes it realistic on the shores... 'cause it's deep... but there's a downside (as always) there's snow.

so if there's anyway round this please tell me... if not then i need to keep looking for maps (that's what i've been doin for the past two days) :?

yeah.. i've been looking for ages for a good one, when i do find a good one it either has grids (which arnt hard too remove, but when you get borders, u'll get one big patch of flat line which is "conencidently" (cant spell it) the same shape as the border) or it has town names.

well... i could just carry-on with the scenario, and have lots of snow...it'll be great for christmas though :D
