OK so I missed the mark on this here but I'll post it anyway, this is my version of the Class 60 in EWS livery (I personally think all locomotives designed for freight after privatisation should be in this livery).

maley, tbh i dont think your in a very good position to be criticising other peoples work when yours isnt exactly good... Commie Si has produced something that looks very good actually, and no, it doesnt look too yellow, it looks almost exactly like the engines ive seen at Didcot many, many times... Q.E.D.

(i see you found my experiments)

I started learning at about 3am and these are my results
EWS Cargo Set

Its nice to see other artists are liking my work...still cant get the hang of sloped fronts, but learning...
I pretty much want to have a miniset of EWS for freight movement to give a realistic look...any suggestions would be welcomed greatly

If you would like help with graphics, comments perhaps even coding etc it might be better to ask an appropriate mod to move the topic from OTTD Graphics to TTDP Graphics as theres more support over here for the current graphics engine.

Good plan! I'm thinking of trying to learn coding as well, but for now i want to get a basic set of locos and stock, preferably 3 locos and half dozen wagons (basic templates to work on)

The coding was a passing thought, have donea bit (and i mean a very little bit) of VB and PASCAL, so i can at least begin to look at code and it doesn;t look like spagetti after someone threw it up, NO I see spagetti!

@lws1984:

Very nice sprites. I'm not really experienced enough to comment on them, but why are the sides asymmetric?

Well, how it works is, say the cars are in semi-permanent sets of 4. The top sprite is the front car with the driver's cab. The middle sprites, logicallly, are the cars that hold just passengers, no driver's controls. The bottom is the last car in the set, with the drivers cab facing rearward, as it probably should.

EDIT: I forgot, but I have the Croydon Tramlink and the DLR (Docklands Light Railway), also.

aw nice! :D
Looks a good train! Nice work

lws1984: I like your tube trains, however... Are they finished, or yet to be worked on?
There good, dont get me wrong, but a couple seem a little under-shaded.
Other than that, love the shape! :D

Just wanted to point out how awesome those "code" diagrams were :)).

That was the problem I had to start with, and still do when I forget that the _ views need to have part of their front and back showing too.

Well, they are "finished,' but you are right about the shading, and they (as said before) need center doors. However, I have been very busy with new job, so i haven't ben able to do anything.
