2 Siema: If you want to draw some Polish trains, I am not sure, but I think that there is a Polish trainset (PKP) under development - try search button

on the other hand, I think that most freight carridges used in Poland are same or very similar as those used in Czech republic - and most of those I have already finished. If you wish to use any of them for the Polish trainset, just PM me or stop by at CSDset development thread.

2 All (and TTDX_artist especialy) I haven't stopped drawing due others working or not working, I have halted my work because I have different TTD projects, which need to be finished sooner.

i've checked pkp set but it's dead from june or sth. i think i'll find some trains different from Chech, and there are also different liverys. it'd be nice to see your graphics. i must learn some "pixel trics". and coding it's problem.
i'll try to post new graphic today as i can.
thx

edit: i can also join CSD set. as an artist. but my best peoblem is that i don't know what is alredy drawn, and what is to do.

p.s. ok, i checked CSD set topic and im going to change my question: is there anything to draw?

Off course. Alternativey you can check the Excel file I posted a long time ago, which includes a list of some things I had planned to include.

Well, we need a good tracking table so artists can start drawing.

Yes, lets start that 'European Cargo Set' again. We could do a joint project with the Norwegian, Swiss and Deutsche Bahn Trainsets - they all need a set of freight wagons.

What has been drawn so far? In the meantime, I start on a vehicle list, ie what we are looking for.

You can copy mine if you like
Here is the template code for the rows. You just copy and paste one for each wagon.

Code: Select all

Want to draw us some?
Actually all you need to do is replace the engines with your carriages ...
If you want, you can leave the name "French Set" or you can replace that too. :D

Sorry to dig this up, but I wonder if there's anyone interested in picking up this project again?

I certainly would be, as said earlier in the topic, the swiss, bundesbahn, french and norweigian set all need freight wagons. Also, i think the Spanish set might need them as well.

This would be an ideal set for Europe...

Yes, I'd like to, since we could use them for the Spain set too.
The problem is that right now we are busy with the Japan set. It has been running for long enough and now we want it released. So my work at the Spain set is a bit stopped at the moment.
If I ever begin drawing any freight car I'll post it here too, so that it can be used / modified

Yes :D
The French Set could definitely use the European Cargo Set.
In fact ... we'd like to offer a little deal.
We'll include all your cargo set, and feature it on our web site and tracking tables. Because its European, you'll want to still make it available to the other sets from Europe. We'll simply give you a place to call home.
Interested?
btw ... the revised French Set tables should be up later tonight.

We'll include all your cargo set
Well, if not all, at least part of it ;)

What we were planning in the FRSet was to shrink the cargo wagons in 18 IDs and to create different generations of wagons, so that we can have old and modern ones. This way we can have "consistent" freight trains, with the right carriages attached to the engines according to the construction period. The same wagons would have different liveries also, in a random fashion (French wagons weren't just brown 8) )

We could definitely use some of your modern cargo wagons, while providing you with a home and of course giving all the due credit. Maybe some models could be specifically painted to look more SNCF-compliant, if that's possible.

Do you plan to include old wagons in the European Cargo set too? If so, then the number of wagons we might include would increase dramatically :)
